Our stay at Quinta de La Rosa was absolutely perfect. First of all, the property is beautiful. The rooms are large and have everything you need, including complimentary craft beers. The restaurant was one of the best we had in Portugal with the best red wine I’ve had. Their complimentary breakfast was also amazing. We had to leave early before breakfast on our last day and they offered to give us take home breakfast which I’ve never experienced at any other hotel. 13/10 would definitely recommend!

Pictures of the property in expedia does not make justice of the beautiful place and surroundings. All rooms face the amazing Douro River. Waking up and opening the windows for the sun to come in with the river view was priceless. The nights are so peaceful and quiet. Friends and families stayed with us and loved as well. OMGosh this is the prettiest hotel. Right on the Douro River. Every nook is a surprise. All the rooms are slightly different so choose wisely and be specific. We had a wonderful dinner in the the restaurant. All the food was very good, just be aware if you have food restrictions etc. as "no dairy/milk" seems to be get confused. Just ask to speak to someone who knows as they actually pride themselves on being able to accomodate Gluten and Dairy free . Having said this, the breakfast is super nicely done. You will not be dissappointed.
