The renovations are a bit much at this point. We were there in November and had planned to stay elsewhere but decided to try again. They didn't mention breakfast would be in a hallway and that service would take longer because the staff has to run around to get everything. We would've gone elsewhere.
I also took the yoga class and the instructor was great. The problem was the landscaping guys...I mean, if you're doing a yoga class outside from 8-9am why not start after? The guy actually looked at us, apologized and kept going. We both spoke to the front desk and they were really understanding. I didn't want anything but they gave us vouchers for breakfast, unfortunately we had to leave early and didn't get to use them.
When I called down for help at night (at a round 8-9pm), I was put on hold for long periods and then told I had to call the front desk in the morning (to check out early!). Also, I can't believe they're not allowed to help with reservations. If you want to modify, add or change you have to call or go through the website.
This was by far our worst time at this hotel. Again, you have some really great staff there but there's only so much they can do. We will be there regularly visiting family, so hopefully most of this becomes a non-issue once the construction is done but I don't see how that will be by March 2025.
