Great location, bikes were nice for the bike path, breakfast, grab and go was helpful.. property was older but well kept.
Donna, 4-night trip

8/10 Good

The staff were very friendly and very accommodating to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was quite comfortable with a kitchen and separate bedroom although there were a few areas needing minor repair and painting.
CHUNMEI XIE VAN, 7-night trip

6/10 Okay

I like the property it’s close to a beach and nice views and if you want, you could just swim in the pool. Too bad there wasn’t a jacuzzi, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The room was okay, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The restaurant on premises was great! The hotel was close to shopping and places to eat. All in all, it was a great place to stay!
Al, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Amazing place to stay in Kauai! 10/10 recommend. Friendly staff, prime location, beautiful grounds, clean rooms!
Hayley, 3-night trip

8/10 Good

We only stayed here a short time, but the rooms were clean and functional. The pool is nice for lounging. You can get free bikes in the lobby; the hotel is near Ke Ala Hele Makalae Path, so it is really easy to go for a bike ride along the coast with your family. The hotel has a sea wall so you can't get into the ocean right in front of the hotel, but you can access the beach and walk on the sand at the two neighboring resorts.
Andrea, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Nothing to dislike like about the stay. Will recommend for friends for certain who want to visit Kauai. Experience was amazing, along with the staff.
Steve, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The ISO is a great affordable option to some of the other overblown resorts in the area. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is helpful, and the hotel is conveniently located close to some great restaurants and island excursions. While it may not have the bells and whistles of nearby options, it has a pool, a great continental breakfast, and EVERY room is ocean-view.
Brian, 7-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great views outside the balcony
DWARAKESH, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Our stay was great! The ISO is in a great location within walking distance to several beaches and food options.
Kyle, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great location, friendly staff, good amenities
Celina, 4-night trip

6/10 Okay

The property is just old and the rooms are very small for two non married people even though they had two beds. They try hard to keep it clean but remodeling is necessary. All in all it was a good stay
Malcolm, 14-night trip

4/10 Poor

Musty smell in the room. Pillow case smelled as if it wasn't changed. Pictures of the place deceivingly look good. But nothing like it in person. The place looks old. But have to admit price is good, and a good location as a base to visit the north, south and west.
Clifford, 6-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Quiet, serene and conveniently located.
Natania Delfin, 3-night trip

8/10 Good

Overall a positive experience! Comfortable room with beautiful ocean view. Plenty of space for two people, comfortable bed, and we had everything we needed. The area is a bit more commercial but that does come with the convenience of grocery stores and tons of restaurant options. Only downsides were that we were unable to drop off our luggage early and there was somewhat of a mildew smell and mold in the bathroom. Unfortunately this is fairly common is ocean side hotels so not a deal breaker.
Rachel, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

A little tired the property is, but with free bikes, a pool and great views to the beach- we were satisfied. Breakfast has some fresh fruit, sweet yogurt and bakery items. Staff were hit and miss (afternoon shift was lovely).
Marcus, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Really loved views of the ocean suite, nice grounds & beach next door was never busy. As others mentioned, our King reservation was not guaranteed so we almost ended up in a double. Be sure to call ahead & confirm what you expect. No coffee in the lobby available, not even during the grab & go breakfast. Small in-room pot only. Nice perks of sunrise yoga, and having bikes for use as long as one is available that is your size since the seats don't adjust. East parking. Great spot to explore Kauai by car, would stay here again!
Samantha, 4-night trip

4/10 Poor

Very nice location which is walking distance to good reasonable food. Property is very outdated. Not sure why they are called a “resort”. I think it is a stretch in able to ask for the resort fee. Nothing fancy here. If your goal is just to sleep for the night, then it is fine. But if you are after going to the beach, then you are in the wrong place. The beach here is not where you can swim. It is just for the view.
Rommel, 6-night trip

8/10 Good

Decent location, very clean rooms and property. Great walking path along the beach and hotels.
Alexandra, 7-night trip

8/10 Good

Overall I enjoyed my stay. The views were gorgeous. Everything was clean. The pool was great and the beach access there was awesome. All the staff was lovely as well. There were just some maintenance that would really round out the entire experience.
Maitland E, 8-night trip

10/10 Excellent

We love the ISO! The proximity of the ocean, the quiet enjoyment of the phenomenal view, and the sunrise from the rooms are priceless. Great location, friendly stuff, and pleasant stay to enjoy this wonderful island!
Serine, 7-night trip

6/10 Okay

Pros: Overlooking the beach. We had a pretty nice view for a decent price. There’s breakfast but it’s just cereal, muffins, apples .. can’t complain since it’s free but wish there were more options. Cons: AC wasn’t blowing cold at all. Checked into a very warm room. Outdated bathroom. Walk-up building only. Uncovered parking. FYI: Very low ceiling / ceiling fan so taller people have to be careful. Our friend whacked his hand pretty hard on it just stretching lol.
Jodie, 3-night trip

8/10 Good

The breakfast could use a few more selections and a coffee pot. The amenities were unique and nice! The bikes, morning yoga as well as the pool were nice to have! As well as the unique welcoming gifts. The cleanliness of the room was just okay. Noticed lots of dirt that was just missed as well as the room smelled of mildew.
