Delightful stay

The Acadia offered so many unexpected amenities (such as Build Your Own) trail mix, or afternoon charcuterie table, etc.). The outside areas were comfortable and relaxed. We made use of the Island Explorer (a free bus) for the short ride in to town, which stops right at the front door of the hotel and which couldn't have been easier to use.

Great family stay

The hotel was perfect for a family vacation! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The activities for the kids such as nightly smores, were a hit. After a full day of hiking, it was great to unwind in the outdoor common area. The regular shuttle made getting to Bar Harbor a breeze. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This was our second stay at this place, the first being in 2019. The staff are all wonderful and friendly. The proximity to the town and shops is about 1 mile and there’s a pedestrian path so it’s very doable. We love it here!

We had a great stay at the Acadia Inn! The location is great being only a 25-minute walk into town and a 15-minute drive from Acadia National Park. The hotel staff could not be nicer, and the property was well kept and cleaned and full of fun amenities like a pool, hot tub, included breakfast, smores and firepit some evenings, make your own trail mix some mornings, etc. If you are going to Acadia/Bar Harbor, I highly recommend the Acadia Inn!
