Room was great, we had the bottom floor with a door right by the car. There were plenty of towel hooks which a lot of hotel/motels don't have. Good counter space, charging outlets, even the motion activated night light was nice. Only addition I'd make, speaking as a senior, would be a grab bar in the shower. Check-in was easy. Breakfast was good.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mountaineer Lodge! This was my second visit and I was happy to return. The bed was very comfortable and there are numerous thoughtful features throughout - good bathroom lighting, boot dryer, kitchenette, etc. We also loved the steam room and spa.

The Mountaineer Lodge is perfectly situated. There are at least five restaurants within five minutes. You are also very close to the Park and Ride for Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. The staff were so friendly and sent emails prior to our arrival about the area. The breakfast buffet was also very good.
