A very unique place to stay. It was built in 1939 and has been renovated but still has that unique quality about the past. Dining was outstanding. Walking distance to the steam railway ride which was a lot of fun.

We have stayed here multiple times on our way in to Yosemite. It is nothing fancy, but the grounds are peaceful and beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Super cute and comfortable, could have done with better storage/ surface area? Shame the restaurant wasn’t open? Gorgeous and well kept otherwise! Great location and price!

Great Location. Close to Yosemite entrance as well as the town is only 15 minutes distance for grocery and restarants.
Unnati, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Very clean and comfortable room with nice view. Just outside Yosemite south entrance was so convenient. Railroad rides and horseback riding so easy to access. Very nice staff. Only negative was the pool area in disrepair and pool not swimmable due to low water level, no filtration.
JoAnne, 3-night trip

Everything was really nice.
Brandon, 1-night trip

patty, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

I had a great stay at the Narrow Gauge Inn! The room was very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view that made mornings especially enjoyable. Parking was super easy, and the location is hard to beat — just about 2 miles from the south entrance of Yosemite, which made accessing the park incredibly convenient. One of the highlights is the nearby train depot and scenic ride, which adds a unique charm to the area. The on-site restaurant has a wonderful historic atmosphere and looks fantastic, though the food itself was just okay. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re visiting Yosemite — clean, convenient, and full of character.
Aik, 2-night trip

4/10 Poor

The shower was small, shower head was too high to spray correctly. Very little table space.
Larry, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

This property is so cute and relaxing. Simple room but very comfortable, we rode the sugar pine railroad while we were there, a must do! Short drive to Yosemite and much more reasonable than staying in the park. If you stay here, make plans to eat at their onsite restaurant, once you do you won’t want to eat anywhere else!
King room overlooking the mountains.

10/10 Excellent

Absolutely delightful place! Stumbled on it while driving in Yosemite and needed a break from camping and this little gem came up and couldn’t be happier! Amazing staff and they have a great restaurant on sight. One stop place for relaxation! The bed is so comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful. There’s a train ride just steps away that’s been on property for years! Super comfortable and easy!
Claudia, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

The location and proximity to the national park was great. The rustic feel and quant size added charm to the stay, which was way too short for use to really enjoy the setting.
Bruce, 1-night trip

We had a great stay! Would recommend.
