We never got passed check-in! On May 6, I spoke with Marriot reservation staff and staff at TownePlace Suites and was told I have a room for May 8 - 9. Got to hotel at 9:00PM May 8 for 9:00AM Southern MS graduation on May 9, had paid for room 3.5 weeks in advance, was told there were pipe problems in room, so I had no room. Instead of putting my name on a different room, the hotel sold them all! The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful, along with Hotels.com customer service rep., called other hotels, and found a room at another hotel 8 minutes away. Instead of TownePlace Suites paying the difference for another hotel room, Hotels.com had to pay! TownePlace Suites was at fault for not providing a room for a prepaid patron since their facilities failed, not Hotels.com!
