Don’t plug in the television! It’ll shut off power to the whole room! Still, maybe that’ll jolt things so there’s hot water!

Not a single dish or utensil in the kitchen - but real problem is the chemical stench had to sleep with heads out the windows and bathroom fan on - made us sick can’t come back - felt like being poisoned -

The much higher pricing for this hotel is solely a function of location in Brooklyn. It is literally the only hotel in the area. As such, you need dramatically lower amenities expectations for what you are paying for. It is a very quirky hotel that has a lot to work on. Staff is great. Rooms are good sized. Bed is very good. All other furnishings (furniture, light fixtures, art, bathroom sink, towels, etc.) are very dated, tired, and a bit shabby. Lastly, all rooms have a mezuzah in the doorway. This may be a problem for some.

Would not stay here again. It wasn't clean and was in an inconvenient area transportation, dining, and activity wise. Amenities are extremely dated.

The building is old. The door is from the 80s. Very dusty. Like a shelter sorry guys

Awkwardly designed room. Little or no supplies in room, including no glass or paper cups, no coffee maker. The breakfast served on the bottom floor was spartan; just coffee & juice and a plain bagel with cream, cheese

I was told to leave early instead of the promised checkout time, that was shown in the booking in Expedia App and confirmed by the receptionist.

Bad bad bad

Rubbish hotel, AC was stuck to my bed... got sick since day 1... breakfast on average, just bagle, milk or bad coffe... elevator it's a pain... the area around isn't nice, if u ask a suggest to the neighbours don't be surprise if they act like they didn't hear you, or they don't know where is the pharmacy (next to their door)... will never come back.. they should not only refund my permanence at the hotel... they should refund me also my fly from Europe to us and us to Europe... I lost my vacation for the AC stuck to my bed

This hotel is not as described. The rooms are not sound proof - we constantly heard the tv in the room next door. The gym is closed. Breakfast is only some days of the week, during a very short time window, and sometimes didn't get delivered on the days it was supposed to be on. The rooms have a kitchen, but not a single utensil, plate, bowl, pot or pan - completely useless! And the 24 hour business centre is just some chairs in the lobby area. The housekeeper and most of the front desk staff were friendly, and it was clean, but most of the description is misleading.

WE DO RECOMMEND YOU TO STAY AT THIS VERMIN INFESTED HOTEL. We had an extended stay (12 nights) booked at Pointe Plaza Hotel, and had thought the provision of kitchen facilities would have been good for this stay. We initially arrived late and crashed and headed out early the next day. The second evening, when we finally spent time in the room, we had multiple mouse sightings in our room, including bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. We immediately brought this to the attention of the reception. The hotel was fully booked and we also no longer felt safe in the property and checked out and had to find accommodation at the last minute over the Christmas period. Despite numerous communications, we have yet receive a response / refund from the hotel: * 14 & 17th December - Emails sent to Pointe Plaza Hotel at reservation@pointeplazahotel.com * 18 December - message sent via Expedia website to Pointe Plaza Hotel * 19 December - whatsapp message to Pointe PLaza Hotel asking them to respond to our communications Following this, we have been working with Expedia who have also advised the hotel has not been responsive to their multiple communications. We can not in any good conscience recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

My stay was an extreme disappointment. The location is about 20min to the nearest subway. There are also no restaurants in the vicinity. In terms of the room itself, the hot water tap is extremely hot there is no medium temperature. The staff didn’t put extra toilet paper in the room. The towels are washed in detergent that made me extremely itchy. The property was a total rip off. Pillows are also uncomfortable. Stay away is my advice.

Avoid this disheveled hotel

Hotel is in complete disrepair. My room was on the third floor but the elevators would not work correctly - it did this thing where you had to select another floor first and then would bring you to the third. It was confusing and annoying The fitness center of you want to call it that was tiny and dirty. The cardio machines were both broken. There were leftover popcorn and snacks from prior guests still in the cupboards I will not be back

Bait and switch

Ok so there is no self parking facility as listed first of all. Secondly, the pictures shown are not of the super ugly looking room i was given. Stove didnt work, maids didnt even clean up the coffee tray which was full of liquid coffee that spilled everywhere. We ended up just leaving instead of sleeping there because we had come for a romantic staycation and this was NOT it.

The night shift staffs (two gentleman) were very helpful and polite. What we encountered in the 21st morning was a different story. We flighted from West to East and we were told the breakfast ends at 9:30am. It was our fault without check on the door card which indicating ends 9am. We arrived at front desk at 9:01am, one of the lady staff (Rauda?) told us it’s closed at 9am, after explaining the misunderstanding, she was unwillingly taking us to the dinning room. There still had some people, occupied a few tables. She prepared bagels for us. We wanted to sit there quickly finish it and leave along with other customers. And we wouldn’t mess up our hotel room as well. This lady yelled at us: you have to leave but they can stay because you come after 9am. The whole time, she didn’t wear any smile on her face. Would we stay at this hotel again? Of course not.
