Our favourite venue.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel has its own large car park conveniently close to the hotel. We had Sunday lunch there which was excellent. There's a wide choice of options for breakfast plus a help-yourself breakfast bar. We always have the full English which comes freshly cooked and piping hot. The views from the hotel and variety of walks in the area are second to none.

An absolutely stunning hotel, the staff here are as lovely as the hotel setting. I would definitely recommend staying and i would definitely stay here again. Lovely walks around the area too so bring your hiking boots, Robin Hoods Bay is a 5 mile walk away.

Excellent value inbetween Scarborough and Whitby . If you stay here visit robin hoods bay for lovely cliff walk from bootle hill 5 mile from hotel Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice Staff were all polite and helpful Would definitely stay again

Wonderful location and great hotel.

We srarted our short stay with Sunday lunch, which was very good - plenty of vegetables which suits us. We then checked in with a very helpful young lady on reception. The room was spacious, with stunning views over Robin Hood's Bay. We're looking forward to breakfast as we've stayed here before and know how good it is. I'm already looking at the calendar with a view to booking our next visit.

We liked our stay great breakfast.we were there when a weddings on so be aware or call ahead to get a toom away or you will hear it untill midnight .But the managers was very nice about all .so well worth the money .great walks or bike rides with stunning views. Hotel is in a fantastic location overlooking the bay with plenty of local walks, dog friendly and staff very friendly. We had evening meal and breakfast both very nice, hotel is going through refurbishment and the plans look amazing

The Hotel grounds are stunning and there is a gorgeous view across Robin Hoods Bay. The room we stayed in was dog friendly but a bit dated although it was nice and clean. The mattress was a bit soft for our liking but the rest of the room was fine for a one night stay. The walks you can do from the hotel are amazing so loved the location.

A great place to stay if you're walking or cycling in the area and need a base. I was satisfied with the accommodation for the price and included breakfast. Room we got was at the back, very dated, a bit noisy from the boiler units outside and furniture was uncomfortable. Breakfast was OK.
