Nice exterior - that's about all!

Selected this hotel due to architectural design. Attractive exterior - that's about all. Very disappointed with poor maintenance of guest room. Broken blinds, broken telephone socket, floorboard stain, coffee stains on glass at coffee making facilities, lifted skirting divider between bathroom and room. When I raised the defects with the Concierge, he told me that there are different standards of Marriott!

Roof top bar was nice.

The windows were dirty on the inside. Never cleaned during in our three nights there. One convenient plug in for phone other on the floor. Provide coffee pot which will overflow onto counter. Missing any at work or picture. Large but less hospitable sonehow

Not a 4.5 star hotel

It is a very big hotel which clearly used to be 4 star hotel. It is now a bit run down. Showers had mold, hallways full of damages. We stayed for 2 nights and overall it is good enough for a short stay, but def. not a 4.5star hotel. We called in advance to have the baby crib ready - did not happen. Room cleaning also never happened.

Disappointed

We stayed here the weekend of August 22nd and left extremely disappointed. Hotels should offer service and reliability, but this one failed badly. Within minutes of arriving we discovered the electronic curtains didn’t work. Reception promised a technician would fix it, but nothing was done. Later they even claimed it was “marked as fixed.” At 11 p.m. we were moved to another room, only to find it was smaller, cheaper, and clearly a downgrade from what we had booked. No explanation, no apology, no compensation. When I pointed out the smaller bed, staff denied it and insisted the beds were the same size – which felt like gaslighting. Returning to our original room confirmed the bed there was larger. The next day we had to go down yet again, only to be told the curtains still couldn’t be fixed. After several trips to reception, we finally got another room thanks to Melissa, who was professional and kind. She is the only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1. On checkout day, things got worse: housekeeping twice tried to enter our room despite a Do Not Disturb sign. At 10 a.m. someone forcefully opened the door, stopped only by the security latch. At 11 a.m. they knocked again while we were in the shower. Checkout is at 12, so this felt unsafe and highly disrespectful. We travel a lot and I am not a picky guest, but this was one of the most frustrating hotel stays I’ve had. Constant trips to reception, no accountability, and no apologies. Vi har tidligere haft en super god oplevelse på hotellet hvorfor vi valgte det igen. Der var desværre ikke gjort rent på badeværelset og der var hår i sengen. Der kom dog en og gjorde rent men først to timer efter vi tjekkede ind. Det forringede derfor opholdet en del.

Super fint ophold og flot hotel. Dog havde vi problemer med at tv’et ikke ville holde forbindelsen til vores telefoner og at forbindelsen var ret dårlig. Så var deres kontakter ikke særlig gode og mit 2000kr glattejern gik i stykker fordi forbindelsen tændte og slukkede i tide og utide.

Fint hotel tæt på metro. Da vi var der var parkeringspladsen lukket, så man skulle holde på en byggeplads. Værelserne har en fin størrelse, men bruseren var så tilkalket at det meste vand løb ovenud. Alt i alt er det et rigtig fint hotel, og vi var uheldige at komme en dag hvor parkeringen var lukket.

Hotellet er ok, men der ser noget slidt ud indvendigt. Især tæpperne er meget nussede med mange pletter. Der er ingen trapper og elevatorerne kører forbi hele tiden, så man kommer til at vente meget længe på at komme ned.

Bedre tider?

Fint hotel, men hurtigt nedadgående standard. Jeg har tidligere overnattet på hotellet flere gange og haft en fin oplevelse, men det virker til at serviceniveauet generelt er faldet. Bartenderen var ikke i stand til at skænke en fadøl uden at halvdelen af glasset var skum. De kunne ikke finde ud af at lave en irish cofee og deres drinks var kedelige og utroligt små. Selve værelset var fint (sengene knirkede utroligt meget på begge værelser) og udsigten uændret god. Da vi skulle spise morgenmad blev vi henvist til en anden restaturant der angiveligt skulle servere det samme (det var direkte forkert). Morgenmaden var ok, men ikke videre inspirererende eller varieret. Der blev ikke rigtigt fyldt op og der manglede løbende ting og selvom råvarerne var fine var tilberedning/udskæring lidt ubehjælpsom. Til gengæld var der gode drinks i restauranten øverst. Alt I alt et lidt skuffende ophold.
