Daisy, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Its a cheap and very hot morning shower before my shands appointments, always quiet and pleasant
Ashley, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

It smells damp, the bathroom walls are damp and damaged, the bedroom floor is dirty, there are cockroaches, the pool is useless, with love and investment they can make a better hotel
Diego, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Conveniently located near UF, but the motel is mostly empty and the room is outdated.
Amy, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

Price is affordable so close to University of Florida. Beds are very comfortable. No clocks in rooms. Free breakfast is just individual wrap sticky buns or small cinnamon rolls. Faint marijuana smell in rooms which is unfortunate. Staff is very nice and helpful.
Christopher, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

Not very clean. Pool area was fine. AC systems not very effective.
Walter, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

Poor breakfast (no options). Pool was advertised but broken. Sheets were rough texture wise
Lindsey, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Bed bugs and cockroach
Henry, 3-night trip

2/10 Terrible

There were cigarette burns around the bathroom sink and toilet seat. The room smelled like cigarettes. Neither of the bedside lamps worked
Andrew, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

Not going back
Caryn, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

The only good thing was friendly lady who helped with registration. The lobby and room smelled of old dingy building. The ac barely cooled and the shower was difficult to get working. It was either freezing or burning hot. The beds were hard as rocks. It was very inexpensive so I just chalked it up to you get what you pay for. Oh yeah the pool was closed as well. I was glad to leave.
Andrea, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

It was clean, the front office staff were friendly. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The rooms are all supposedly non-smoking, but my room reeked of tobacco smoke. The TV and remote did not work properly, it would only turn on/off and change volume. I hope you like Bravo, it's the only channel you get to watch. The bathroom was functional but in rough shape. There is very little sound insulation between rooms. It sounded like the people above me were playing hopscotch all night long.
Lucas, 2-night trip

2/10 Terrible

The beds were good and the AC was cold. But the mat of dust on the TV, the hair in the shower and the cockroach INFESTATION was hard to get over. We stopped killing cockroaches after about the 15th kill. The breakfast was Little Debbie donuts and rancid OJ. I didn’t have the heart to try the apple juice. It’s a cool property with SO much historical potential. It’s just being neglected.
Dust on the TV
Previous guests shower deposits.
Rusty lamps
Not sure what this is.

6/10 Okay

1st, I like old hotels. The hotel was built in the 50's and apparently was the "spot" with a night club and restaurant. I think it could be that again with some investment and attention to detail. It presents as tired, relatively clean, it looks like DIY when they last painted and updated the rooms and lobby. Suggest a person go through all the rooms with a razor blade to tidy the paint jobs. Rusty door hinges and banged up door frames. Need door seeps to keep the critters out from the entry door. The pool was out of order, bummer but reasonable understandable! Drainage for the monsoon storm we had created a curtain of water to the parking lot. Easy fix with a covered pergola over the sidewalks leading to the lots. The bed was comfortable but on a metal platform that made a noise when you rolled over sounding like an old furnace with the metal expanding. Rething the dated chair, its too low. A/C was excellent, staff are helpful. I'd like to see this old lady shine again.
Paul, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

The room got the job done. It was close to UF for mine in weekend. But it was outdated. The ventilation made it so I could smell the neighbors shower products and their weed.
