Stay at the Rio!

Guest services were fast and efficient. Upgraded to a newly renovated room and were given a very fair price! Though not on the strip, very convenient to everything! Our room was clean and comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Stay was ok

It’s was ok didn’t like being charged $20 for bell man because I had more than luggage and the tub in room wouldn’t drain.

I received and upgrade to a renovated room. The only bad thing, there was no maid services.
Olin, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was difficult getting parking, and I had to walk a long way with all my baggage. Service was great once I got to the check-in desk, and my room had a great view of the city. I have to knock a few points off for the tiresome walk with all my baggage.
Mark, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The hotel was not what it was expected. It is outdated and the thing that was really annoying was the smell. The carpet smelled like if it was wet. That hotel is not was it was.
Martha, 1-night trip

LESS THAN AVERAGE

ROOM WAS VERY HOT EVEN WHEN I PUT A/C DOWN TO 68* ASKED IF HAD A FAN AND SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. HALF POOL WAS SHUT DOWN AND NO FOOD SERVICE AT POOL, WAITRESS WERE RUDE, NOT ONE TO MAKE DRAMA SO KEPT TO MYSELF TO WRITE ON HERE.
Mario, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

For me it’s a one time stay

Everything was nice but called to get extra towels and a rubber mat no one ever came to deliver. Took us a while to find out room the directory wasn’t very helpful. Tried to turn on the AC room never got cold it was very warm.
2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Front desk had no maps of the property. Our room had no toiletries, no soap. The room was hot as ac struggled to work. Entire property smelled like sewer and it drifted into the hallways and room. Also do not eat at the Smash Burger there!
Vic, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

I called and asked what was the earliest check in we were told anytime after 1:00pm When we arrived we were told no to come after 3:00 pm - Again arrived at 3:00 To wait in a long line with hardly any agents working by the time we got our room was after 4:00pm which ended up being the regular check in time. The rooms were nice and clean. Did pay for an upgraded room. One key didn’t work so waited again in a long line just to get a new key Rio is not on the strip sits just behind it but I liked it better so there’s not so much traffic getting in
Nancy, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Stay was just ok I did like the feature in just doing online checking in cause the line I saw there was at least a 2hr long wait getting my key cards was easy. Our room was located in the Masquerade Tower out carpets were wet like they they had just wet vacuumed it. But it stood like that until we left Sunday morning. It smelled like wet rag and the AC wasn’t working that well.
Lisa, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Nasty!

The sinks clogged up within the first 5 min. Of staying there. Black stuck started coming out of the sinks which made the sink/room smell like poop. I called for help and the help never came. Great!
Gilberto, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice, Not Bad?

It was alright. Pictures indeed don't describe a room. But the fact there's a fridge but no microwave to heat up food or something you couldn't finish at a restaurant is a down star. Condition of the room at first with missing tile or spots appearing to have scratches or wood looking like a mouse chewed through it was a downstar. But overall I liked the experience and was very happy with the space to get a good view outside of the strip and the trains that go by. I enjoyed making myself enjoy and have a good time across the way with co workers and businesses.
