The best!!! The hotel is beautiful, and staff is the best. From our first interaction at check in with Abdul Rehman to housekeeping everyone we interacted with was absolutely best. Abdul Rehman is awesome he made our trip memorable, Tania in breakfast, Javaid in bell service everyone is so respectful. They are eager to help. They work so hard to make our stay pleasant. Overall, the best experience I have had in Pakistan!!!

Our experience at Mövenpick Centaurus in Islamabad was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel truly lives up to its international reputation for luxury and hospitality. The rooms were immaculate, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views! The service was also outstanding. Special thanks to Fatima at the front desk, who checked us in with so much warmth and professionalism. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even ensuring we had cold water bottles for our ride. Khurram, the bellboy, was equally helpful, assisting us with a smile and making our arrival and departure smooth and welcoming. The hotel is a fantastic choice for international travelers — spotless, secure, and thoughtfully run. I would highly recommend Mövenpick Centaurus to anyone visiting Islamabad. We’ll definitely be returning.

Not family friendly

Took longer than 30 minutes to check in. Was turned away from the executive lounge because kids aren’t allowed even though no one was there. Excessive security even for Pakistan. Shower drains are slow and wet the entire bathroom floor. Full of military folks and business travelers. Not a family friendly hotel.

Stayed at MovenPick Centaurus for 10 days in July.The hotel is beautiful, newly constructed and is located at a prime central location. Staff, while helpful is a bit uncoordinated due to an inefficient system where multiple departments in the hotel function independently and lack communication, thus e.g. the front desk won’t know what the travel services is upto. Charges while online with most top tier hotels but a bit too much in certain areas. My wife’s flight got delayed by a couple hours and were charged additional fee for airport pickup or about $30 for 6 cans of pop, after spending about $3000(cad) seemed unreasonable and left a bad taste. On our last day hotel went through a technical glitch where some floors were without electricity for at least 5 hrs, the staff while overwhelmed did perform admirably and gave us another room to sleep for the night so props on that. Place is very nice, one of the best I have stayed in amongst many countries. Staff was very helpful, dealt with minor issues like air conditioning in a timely manner. Mansoor from housekeeping is a gem. He took care of us for most of our trip, was a gentleman and displayed the highest ethos of hospitality and customer service. Give the man a raise and maybe a promotion. Overall the stay was positive and would recommend/stay there again

I booked this hotel from expedia for my wife and sister in law arrived from canada for a short trip to islamabad. First i will write the worst part. The room quality was very average or below the standard. The elevator had issues so they shifted the family to centaurus suite which was more pathetic and shower ,iron, furniture was pathetic. The contact number on expedia was not actove and i sesrched the other number where staff was available. Again shifted back to Movinpick after the issue was resolved. The cost of two cup of tea with omelets was 9000 pak rupees once we asked for the room service though they should have served as a complimentary after this hassle late night. The cost was very high and the quality was like a low scale guest house. Now good part of Movinpick The car was at the airport in time to receive from airport as a free service. Area around hotel has better places to visit. Staff coperative and effectively communicating. When we requested for the compensation they reimbursed almost one day but it was 15 days time which is very poor and very irritating. Overall i find it a very poor experience / experiment.
