I have stayed here several times over the last 10 years it has become very outdated and service is very lacking with new owners. Pool was in terrible shape, no air in main hotel lobby, breakfast was minimal, over all it was not worth the stay anymore.

what can I say? Staff was friendly and staircase in lobby was pretty and room was clean, that is where it stops. The pool was being worked on, the snack room had no snacks, the breakfast room was nice but they served no breakfast not even coffee, then they tell us there is no hot water after we checked in. Also we almost did not find the place the sigh by road and on motel said Quality Inn. He tells me they have owned it for over a year. My recommendation do not stay there until they finally decide to get it ready for travelers.

This place was run down and the service was horrible. They put us in an joining room. We didnt need it. The property is run down. There wasnt wifi but they were working on it. I parked my car close to my room and was asked why I didnt park in front. I didnt feel safe at all. The room was dirty as well.

when we arrived on May 30th, 2025 the grass had not been mowed, no other vehicles were present, there were signs posting there was no HOT WATER. we used the guests restroom ,no toiletpaper or anyway to dry your hands. I asked for a refund as I had 4 rooms reserved & was already charged for them. I will never reserve with them again ( also known as Quality Inn . We did not stay because of the HOT WATER issu. Had they contacted me before hand I would have cancelled UNHAPPY & MAD Reservist

Showed up at 7 pm, had to wait 30 minutes for room. Then we were put in a dbl queen instead of what we booked, a king. Went to supper, when we returned. Notes on door and at front end saying no rooms available and if you booked 3rd party you would need to get refunded through them. Wow, I am glad we got our room. Short staff, no toilet paper in room.

The staff was friendly enough at check-in and check-out however the room was not super clean. There was dirt on the carpet when we came in and what think was a cigarette burn on the bedspread. There was about a quarter of a roll of toilet paper so I had to ask for more. One of the towels I was going to use, I think was clean but had brown poop-looking stains on it. The bathroom really needed a deep cleaning. We only stayed one night so we made do but I would not stay here again. My daughter also seen someone's fake eyelashes floating in the pool. I think in it's prime this hotel was beautiful with the staircase as you first come in but it's just not been well kept.

The first room we were given, the room had not been cleaned. The breakfast in the morning was not ready at the time it was said to be, and when it was, there was a moldy orange in the fruit basket.

Got there to check in. Had a reservation for a king size bed. Get there to be told they only have one room with a king left and a key card won’t work to let us in he will have to every time we want it. Put us in another room with a smaller bed no discount no nothing. Get to room no toilet paper no shampoo and conditioner to be told sorry we’re out. Had to slam the door to our room to even get it to shut and no lock on the inside. Was super excited when we booked the hotel because they had a pool also. Nope wasn’t allowed in that either due to having it closed for “maintenance” but when we went out later that night after it was closed had it been open. The owners kids were in it. Will never go back!!!!!

They didn't have the hot breakfast like they said and they had some a couple weeks in the roof in the main entrance and a couple doors broken on the premises

Very disappointing. We were the only customers there so felt unsafe. Rooms were depressing and beds were horrible. Orange juice was watered down. Will never stay there again. I thought it was a Best Western from years ago but Quality inn has now taken it over. There is no quality.

The room was clean. The coffee pot had no tray to put the filter in to make coffee. Went down to the the tray they didn't have one. Beds were comfortable. Nice 🚿 great water pressure.

People just hanging around the door ways. Room had runs in the carpet, drapes were torn, rats eating our unopened chips and crackers, hallway spelled like pee, shower curtain bar was installed backwards, so the shower curtain would cling to you instead of giving you extra room, every time we left our room and came back we had to go to the front desk to get it reactivated. I was there for 10 days.

We stayed at Precious Hotel in Carthage MO. The carpets hadn't been vacuumed in the hallways for a long time. Not had our room . Our room has canisters of D-con out in plain sight. Which our kids were older but could have been a problem for smaller children. The breakfast room was filthy and the trash can was overflowing with trash obviously there from the day before. No milk and when we asked they just said we're out. Eggs were cold just in a metal tray with no warmer. But the staff had plenty of time to stand outside and smoke. I knew we were in trouble when we checked in at 8pm and the desk staff had to run down the hall to check if the room was clean first. At least the sheets in the bed were clean.

I find the Precious Hotel to be quite adequate, but I guess the eggs and sausage are Monday through Friday only. I had to beat the Arctic freeze, so I checked in on a Friday night and Saturday morning meant slim pickings (a couple of mini muffins) for breakfast. The coffee in the breakfast room tasted like tree bark, so I grabbed a few creamers for in-room coffee only to find that all 4 packets in my room were decaf, while most places provide 2 leaded and 2 unleaded. That's no way to start a 12-hour drive to coastal Texas. But as long as the price on Expedia stays where it is (or close), it's my half-way stop between The Lone Star State and America's Dairyland.

Upon checking in, there were two other couples that were checking in and both by the time I was at the counter came back stating that their keys did not work for the room. We got our keys and headed to the room.. got to the door.. Opened it... And there were people hanging out on Their Room!!! Mortifying to say the least! So we were graciously given a different room by a manager thankfully.. The place itself is stinky.. it has a lot of "trying to clean it or use something to cover up another smell, but then becomes something even worse" type of a situation.. we were there two mornings and each morning we had someone come by to knock on the door to see if we were there or not... Very interesting. The "breakfast" was pretty much non-existent and very very lackluster. So... Yeah.. you get what you pay for.

Just because eggs are more expensive doesn't mean that a plate of scrambled eggs (for those who actually eat them) is going to break the budget. Both juices were out as well. DIY waffles, dry cereal, bagels, toast and mini muffins are part of a CONTINENTAL breakfast, so the listing should be changed. (I loved this place on my first 2 visits when they DID have scrambled eggs and sausage patties, but there are cheaper stays in Carthage and Joplin if I have to stop at McDonald's for an Egg McMuffin out of pocket.)

So-so hotel. Took us 10+ minutes to get checked in. Room was clean. Old decor - drapes so long they covered the air conditioner so we had to situate them to prevent the ac blowing them open every time it kicked on. Amenities says “buffet breakfast”. This is FAR short of that, and probably one of the worst breakfast offerings we’ve experienced, short of having nothing available. This is what they consider a buffett: waffle, coffee, bagel, yogurt, cold cereal, apple juice. We actually went elsewhere for breakfast both days.
