Cabin very cozy & well stocked with everything you would need. Beautiful setting in the woods. There was wood for firepit. Would stay again.

Great stay. Yes it is small, but has everything you need and is well thought out. Especially appreciated the firewood and starter logs, tea, water, smores and other small touches provided. Would stay again.

One of the best!

Pretty awesome place. Nice, quiet, clean and peaceful. The view out the window from the bed is amazing. Beds are comfortable, communication with staff is unbelievably good. Will definitely be back

Glamping in the northwoods

Loved my stay at the Postcard cabins! It felt like a true glamping experience in the northwoods. Little touches like the snacks, water and fully stocked fire pit essentials made it so easy and comfortable. Just look at the view! The bed was hotel quality amd soooo comfy. Highly recommend!

Very cute and offered many extras (ie: s'mores packs, coffee and firewood). Very close to Banning State Park for hiking options. Our dogs were also welcomed with bowls, treats and tieouts. Had a wonderful time

Tiny but Mighty

So quiet. Clean. View was amazing. Loved the knotty pine interior, which gave off a subtle natural scent- the bed and bedding lush. Amenities well thought out. Would stay again.

8/10 Very good

Loved the quaint little cabin in the woods. Came stocked with snacks and boxed water and an assortment of teas and coffees. Cabin came stocked with everything you would need! My only complaint would be the upkeep of our cabin wasn’t great. We had to fix the doorknob so it wouldn’t fall off and the shower door was very leaky.

The place was perfect to just unwind with our pup which is exactly what we were looking for. The space around the cabin is cute but definitely more for dogs that would like to relax and lay around there. We brought ours on plenty of hikes and even up to Duluth to let him swim in superiors to tire him out. The food options were not great around the area so we traveled or just grilled. Other than that it had everything you needed. Unfortunately we had some rowdy dogs next to us sounded like 3 cabins in a row that made us head inside for the last two nights. That was a huge bummer since we couldn’t enjoy the fire and being outside during the end of the stay. Our dogs didn’t mind the other dogs but it just wasn’t enjoyable for us to listen to non stop barking between 4-6 dogs.

8/10 Very good

First, let me say we had a great time. We were only there for one night, and the weather was a perfect October fall day/evening. We cooked hotdogs over the open fire pit (logs/fire starter included!) and enjoyed stories and reminiscing with our kids (14 and 11). A full grocery store is about 20 minutes away, so bear that in mind. Now, be aware of a few things before you book. These are the facts - no microwave, no Wi-Fi, no oven (kitchenette), no TV. We were fine with all of this, but you (and your kids) may not. The "postcard cabin" is appropriately named. If you've RV'd, you'll get it. The cabin is basically on a trailer, like a micro-house. It's small but well designed. Most of your luggage will stay in the car. It's more like high end glamping! A couple of drawbacks. First, the bathroom, while nice, has a tiny shower. Again, if you've RV'd, you know the drill. Get wet. Shut the water off to lather up, then turn it on again to rinse. No big deal. The heat distribution from the AC was a problem for us. There are two queen size beds that are both comfortable futons. They are bunked so two (of a group of 4) must be in the upper bunk. That area is tight so if you have the heat on (we set it for 67), it was sweltering in the upper bunk. We turned the heat off. Highly recommended if you know what to expect! Four adults would be a stretch. Two is perfect.

Just a note.... The smores kit (on sheet in cabin said to enjoy welcome snack smore kit) was missing so we couldn't do smores. Also, On the bottom of shower door leaks out onto the floor... it's like the seal isn't tight enough so we had to put a towel down every time we showered and the towel got soaked outside of the shower. Would be nice to have a big mirror maybe on the bathroom door.
Lisa, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

It was a great view from the window. Way too small for me. I knew it wasn't going to be big, never expected it to be as tiny as it was. Well put together though.
Linda, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

I loved that the proximity between each neighbor was a bigger distance so it didn't feel like we were all forced to stare at each other everyday. The amenities provided was really nice. The only downfall was the location. There wasn't too much to do or see. The kitchen was lacking pots & pans. Alternating between one small pot and one medium sized pan was a struggle, but it was nice that the plates were safe to use as another cooking device (steaming). Overall, definitely will book again for the escape from the cities. At least now knowing the space and items provided, is know what to bring for myself the next time around.
