From the moment my wife and I arrived, we were treated like family. The resort is stunning and the property layout makes getting around a breeze. They had great dining options every night and we didn’t have one dinner that failed to meet or exceed our expectations. We spent 7-8 hours a day between the beach and Manatees bar with Eddy, Mildred, Marina, and Perfecto who were our favorite staff members and a blast to be around. But I can’t forgot our butler Yeudy who was there whenever we needed something for the room or help coordinating a night out or travel plans. We can’t thank the staff enough for making our trip so amazing (but especially those 5 I mentioned)!

The service was nothing like I've experienced before, I felt like a king at the resort. There were plenty of activies at the resort. Plus, you can book events outside the resort and most provide transportation to and from the event.The rooms are very nice and modern with updated light and controls. I would recommend getting a room with a swimout pool becuase the pool close at 6 PM. With the swimout pool, you can hang in the pool any time. Im definitely going back!

They didn’t have enough staff and they offered a VIP club that when you try to order something from the breakfast they say they don’t have it. I was very disappointed with this stay. The property is supposed to be new but every thing kept breaking down and I had to move rooms not 1 or 2 times, but 3 times! While they did assist when issues arose, there was too many issues and everything just took so long. We spent 3 hours at dinner every night and AC went out multiple times. They did provide me with spa services due to those issues but not worth it in my opinion.

We recently went to Secrets Playa Esmeralda in the Dominican Republic to celebrate a my mothers 70th birthday. My entire family felt completely welcomed and taken care of once we entered the doors. This was our first time visiting the DR, and it turned into a trip we'll never forget. The resort is absolutely beautiful. Everything from the rooms being spotless with an amazing view. But the beach simply AMAZING! The water crystal clear, just peaceful and beautiful. What really made the experience so special was the staff. But there was one person who made it even more, Stephanie. She was there for us every step of the way. It's hard to put into words just how much love and attention she gave us. She didn't just do her job-she genuinely cared for my entire family. Stephanie made us feel so welcomed, and made us all feel like part of the family. She truly made a big impact on our stay and in our hearts. This family vacation was a beautiful memory. If you're thinking about visiting, do it. My family and I visited the Dominican Republic for the first time and stayed at Secrets Playa Esmeralda. The moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms and beautiful tropical views. From the blue ocean and mountain landscape. Just WOW! My family and I decided to upgrade to  Preferred Club, and the attention from every member of the staff was excellent. It truly elevated our experience. But there was one person, in particular, who made our trip extra special, Stephanie. She was incredible. She was so attentive, kind, and thoughtful. She was always making sure everything was right for me and my family. What made her stand out was how genuine she was and the care and love she poured into everything she did. It never felt like it was part of her job to go above and beyond for us. It felt like it came straight from her heart. She truly made us feel at home, and she made sure that our first time in the Dominican Republic would be nothing short of AMAZING. Her great energy, beautiful personality, and sincere dedication left a forever impression on my entire family. Thank you, Stephanie, for making this trip so special and memorable. We are so grateful to have met someone so wonderful, and my family and I are looking forward to returning back at Secrest Playa Esmeralda. What a great resort this is. Highly recommend it!

Me gusto la habitación actualizada cómoda y limpia. El personal muy atento y agradable. Sería mucho mejor si tuvieran más entretenimientos. La comida muy buena y variada. En sentido general todo fue excelente, tal como se espera de un hotel 5 estrellas.

Playa Esmeralda es un paraíso. El hotel es espectacular: excelentes instalaciones, gran servicio, muy buena comida y bebida. Amé mi habitación, y las atenciones de Carlos, marcaron la diferencia de principio a fin para hacer que nuestras vacaciones fueran A+. Mejor hotel de playa Esmeralda.
