I was looking to stay in Katy but wanted to avoid the Katy Mills mall area. I found The Platinum hotel which had just opened. It was like walking into a new home. It was super clean and comfortable. The prices was excellent as well. Highly recommend this place.

Great stay a bit noisy at night.
Excellent stay, room clean staff friendly. Only gripe was late night noise. A group of people started revving their cars. Still this is not necessarily the hotels fault.

It was nice for a quick stopover. Nothing to write home about but new and clean. I prefer first floor and rails on a shower since my fall, but I didn't specify a handicap room, so .... Overall, nice.

It's a very nice place to stay. My only issue was that there was not a small coffee pot in the room or the ability to get a cup of coffee in the lobby. It had all your other amenities you would need...ironing board, fridge, microwave, small couch, desk, tv. Very nice and modern with friendly staff.

When we arrived are room got upgraded because they ran out of the original room but when we arrived there wasn’t really a blanket (just the design piece for the top which imo isn’t a blanket) so we ended up buying one from the store and when we came back on the second night there were bugs on our tooth brushes. Would not stay again.

Very welcoming staff, the hotel has been just built so there is a specific fresh mortar smell in the rooms. Very clean, but no internet during the stay and ! be careful in the bath when taking shower - very slippery plastic the bath is made of (wash your feet before standing in the bath, there is nothing to hold on).

There was no wifi and they told us it was out everywhere and would be up by 8 pm.it wasn't and even the next morning it was down.so not fun for us.hotel is clean,updated and nice

It was newly built just 2weeks ago and I am little bit disappointed about no break fast and no 1-2 water bottle to drink. There are no nearby breakfast place. Also it would be better if they would have remote to control temp in room because every time I had to get up from bed to set temperature. Overall place is good as brand new and interior is also excellent
