This hotel is listed as 4 star, it is not. Perhaps their Sorrento hotel is better, but the one in Naples is 2 star at best. We stayed here for one night after a 2 week vacation on the Amalfi Coast and chose it specifically because of its proximity to the Naples airport and shuttle offer, so we didn’t expect much, but it wasn’t great. Reception staff is pleasant and helpful if you ask. They do have a decent breakfast that is more than a classic Italian breakfast (they offer eggs, meat, fruit, yogurt, various baked goods, cereal, juice and coffee). The towels, sheets and bathroom were clean (or appeared so) but that’s kind of where it ends. The headboard of the bed was completely peeling, the mattress was lumpy, hard and extremely uncomfortable, the pillows could hardly be called pillows and the bedspread was clearly not cleaned consistently, yuk…so that went on the floor immediately. They also gave us literally the smallest room on the property (it was visible on the fire map) with all our luggage and my 6ft broad husband (all of which they could see), my husband literally couldn’t fit in the shower, and we had to climb over our bags to get around. Would have been nice if the front desk had some forethought there, because judging by the keys hanging, they were certainly not full.
There were snacks and drinks in the fridge/room, but no explanation as to whether they were included in the room charge, so we left those alone.
Overall very uncomfortable, we wouldn’t stay again.
