Great property. The property is dated; however, they were renovating the property.
Staff was great. Property was quiet.
I would stay there again.

Unfortunately nothing at the property was working. Pool was down, all the ice machines down. Bathrooms were poorly painted as they were originally jet tubs but they tried to paint over the knob area instead of just covering it.

Warning, do not stay at this dump. Black mold in the showers ,dirty linen , stains on the floor, pool was out of order with mold and algae growing in it. I don’t hold know how the City of Stevens Point has not shut them down. We will be reporting them.

I stayed 3 nights. I could not get my tv to work. I went down to the front desk and they tell me they’d come in the morning. No one shows up. Again, I go down later in the afternoon. 3 workers r at the desk and said, no one came down? I said, no. They speak in a foreign language while I stand there like an idiot. Say they will b down in a few minutes. Never show. Pool was unavailable. Did not know that ahead of time. Ridiculous. I try to do something about it and get a refund when I get home. They say I needed to call while I was there. Why would I call when I was there? I talked to them several times. Pure frustration.

The king size room we booked online was not available. Property is in the process of being renovated as it is under new ownership. Person checking us in said “there was no king size bed available. Well there was one room but the door didn’t lock, we could have that if we didn’t mind.”
Then get to the room and it was just not good. Dirty, and so far away from the front desk. And the hotel wasn’t the at full. This morning we went to take a shower and there was no hot water. AT ALL. Not like warm nothing just cold. The room seemed to have a door with an adjoining room. The door was made of some flimsy board and had a chair pushed in front of it. ?? Noisy people in halls. When we checked out this morning the young man at the front desk was pleasant and took care of us just fine. When we mentioned our experience he said we never should have been put in that part of the hotel. It is in bad repair and is and currently being used by the workers that are hired to renovate the building. We would have left right away but since we booked on line we knew we couldn’t get a refund. We knew it was under new ownership and was ok with some repair work going on and it was our choice to not do a chain hotel. Wanted to give the new up and coming owner the business. Disappointing. You should consider removing this option from your listing until they can get the place under control. Terrible experience except for the nice young man who checked us out this morning.

I wish i had something positive to say but i dont. Pool and hot tub were closed, hoyel.lobby featured a beautiful fireplace and fou tian but neither worked, room had a musty smell, only half the channels worked on the tv, no wifi until my last day of stay, phone in the room had a years worth of dust built up and hair all over it and when i had multiple problems with the tv, a worker told me "the owners have a problem paying their bills on time" the coffee station was very primitive and I had to ask for creamer, their vending was very limited on snacks or treats, had to go to the 2nd floor for the only working ice machine and it wasnt even large ice. It was crushed ice for drinks. The hotel has no elevator either. Multiple signs posted for "no smoking" but upon my arrival, 2 different access points had smokers right next to the door. My room and hallway reeked of Marijuana cuz 2 doors down, a group of individuals were toking in their room. I co.plained about the smell and use of drugs in the facility and nothing was done about it. They had a $100 deposit for i cidentals that was not held but actually charged to my card and im still waiting for a refund! It was very clear the owners care nothing about upkeep, upgrading or making the hotel any better than it is. I feel they are in it for the profit only and do not care about standards.

This hotel appeared to be in the process of changing hands and renovation. You can tell it was a really nice place in the 80s, but now it’s neglected and poorly managed.
Our room smelled like curry—I mean curry powder, as I have that in my cupboard and I’m familiar with the spice. When I went to set my bag on the countertop, I found it was covered in food crumbs. There were also crumbs on the coverlet. The mattresses were lumpy and sprung. The refrigerator hummed loudly whenever you opened and shut it. The microwave was also probably purchased in the 80s and had an unsafe, broken plug. The pool and hot tub were beautiful, but closed for repairs (with no known end date). We weren’t in a position to cancel and walk out, so I had to wipe the room down myself and got a cheap can of air freshener to keep the food smell down. Come on, guys. For what people pay for rooms, you need to do better.
