I enjoyed the pool area. Was thankful they had a hot tub because I woke up so stiff that I had a hard time moving around. I used the hot tub for about a half hour before I got in the shower to get ready for the day. While not completely uncomfortable, the bed wasn't the best.

Christmas decorations were up, filthy, smelly building and rooms. The pool was unkept and it was disgusting! I would not advise staying at this place.

Really enjoyed the patio! Also liked having a kitchen - it came in very handy. This was mentioned in a previous review but didn’t bother me: There is a train in the middle of the night - lasts about 30 seconds or so.

Iron Ridge is a quiet little town. Shop for essentials at a convenience store. Motel owners were eager to meet our needs. The view from our windows was of pine trees, gardens and grass...not sterile paved parking lots. The pool was large and clean. The single train passing in the night was very loud, but quickly passed. We felt relaxed and refreshed after our stay.

Great hidden gem went way out of their way to help you. Great old Skool pool that stayed open after hours . They also were nice enough to give us a shuttle ride to where we needed to go. Great place !

The owners, a nice young couple, were lovely, and I don't think they've owned the place long. But the cleanliness was suspect (kept stepping on stuff in the carpet in my room--needed a good vacuuming) and 1/2 of the lights were burned out. The toilet didn't flush at first, and the TV remote didn't work. They immediately addressed the remote problem, and also addressed the toilet issue the next day. I didn't mention the lights, as I didn't want to pile on.

The staff was friendly and I would stay again. However, I will say our room had a good amount of flies and and a hair wrapped in one of our wash clothes. Other than that my wife and I were very happy with the little night getaway.

Very friendly staff! Bed was comfortable! Needs updating…but the staff(new owners) are obviously working on it ! The upholstered furniture needs a good clue replaced! All will come with time. We would entertain coming back. Oh yes the pool looked very nice.
