2 Nights outside Edinbourgh

Nice quiet Inn with lovely staff. Full Scottish breakfast included. Family room was a bit tight but worked. Surfaces were clean but baseboards and room corners could use a deep clean.

Felt lovely as always…. A traditional hotel that has been tastefully (suits the building) updated and decorated Will be back later in year

Comfortable and convenient stay

I stayed for one night whilst visiting family. The hotel is well located and just a few minutes walk from the centre of Haddington. The room was fine and spotlessly clean but hotel overall does feel a little tired. That said the warmth of the welcome was genuine. Breakfast was fresh and plenty of choice. I would have no hesitation in staying there again

Work Trip

The hotel is getting pretty run down. The bar is all boarded up round the back. We ate out and had a few pints at a pub 2 mins away.

weather was great, we slept well and felt refreshed, they had a good gluten-free option for breakfast. lovely staff, kind and very helpful. Easy to find and good parking.
Amanda, 2-night trip

Everything was great but the bed

I liked everything about this hotel, except the bed. Unfortunately, the bed was possibly the hardest and least comfortable hotel bed I've slept in in recent memory. I say unfortunately, because everything else was first rate. Extremely friendly staff, particularly the gentleman who checked me in, the room was squeaky clean, the wifi worked great, there was plenty of free parking, and they did a splendid cooked to order full Scottish breakfast as well. I'd like to stay here again, in spite of the bed, and hope that maybe other rooms have softer beds!
