Nice historical place to stay.
The only thing I can think to say negative is the pillows are flat. Everything else was great.

A good surprise!
We loved this space, it is definitely more camp vibes than a hotel, which kind of surprised us but as long as you dont mind that, it is a lovely place to stay. I would definitely stay here again! Their hot water is quick and lasts a long time so no worries about that if thats you least favorite part of camping like me :) it was just far enough from town and an easy, quick walk to the lake!

Was ok
I ended up leaving a day early. I came to rest and they were setting up for Oktoberfest so the noise during the day was a lot. They were dropping tent poles and yelling. Room was small, the refrigerator was small and there was no TV. I would have stayed had it not been for all the noise.

It was great hotel. Enjoyed our stay. Especially having the lake so close. Relaxing sitting by the lake. We will return. First time staying at Camp Richardson.

It was a tiny room with two double beds. It’s a clean but outdated hotel. Close to the beach.

Beautiful location and quick walk to the lake. Be sure to take trail through Pope Estates. Go back in time and see these old cabins. The general store across from hotel has a nice little restaurant as well as fully staffed store. The ice cream shop across the road is definitely a one scooper as they don't skimp on filling your cone or sundae cup😁. Will definitely return to Camp Richardson.

4/10 Fair

This is a very old wooden hotel, plus has cabins and camping facilities. Our room shower mixer was falling off the wall. They had no one to fix it and the only other showers available were down the road on the first night. The next night they "fixed" the shower but it did not have hot water, so this time we got a key to use another rooms shower. Heaters were on and we couldn't turn them off and we cooked at night. Very limited room facilities, a fridge so small it only would hold vans of drinks. I would not stay here again. No refund or discount offered and was refused when asked.

6/10 Good

Felt like camping
Very minimal room. No TV and no air conditioner. Couldn’t open bathroom door all the way because of toilet position. Pillows were very flat, had to go buy our own for the two night stay. Check in was very easy, grounds were super clean and it smelled very clean inside. We did enjoy the store, coffee and ice cream that was right there.

We stayed here for a week. It was very fun! It is definitely more of a campsite than we thought. The rooms have no AC so that was a bummer but we stayed outside by the lake most times. The restaurant is expensive so we never ate there but they are always super busy. Also every single morning at 6:30AM the garbage trucks come and woke us up everyday. That was a bummer. But it was nice.
