Great location and good concept. I especially liked that there's someone at reception 24/7 to help you out and give recommendations. The one downside was that the doors to each cubicle fall shut by themselves quite harshly so people getting in and out can wake you up

Amazing value-for-money!

Amazing value-for-money! Most of the hotels in the area will easily set you back €300-500 per night. This place is far more affordable at around €100 per night, but doesn't sacrifice comfort or service. You stay in pods (hubs) that fit 2 people and where you can control the lighting and ventilation. You can even play your preferred music. The bathrooms are lovely and clean. The Rituals brand skincare range is a nice touch. The staff are happy to help with any inquiries you may have. Don't miss the hot tub on the roof! Will definitely be back.

Clean and affordable, we stayed on the second floor, which had shared bathrooms with four showers and two toilets per gender per floor. There was also street parking in P2 and P1, about a five-minute walk away.

First of all a big Thank you to the Host‘s of CityHub Reykjavik. i had a blast with you guys!^^ There Hint‘s and Tips helped me out to plan my travel safely around Iceland. and the CityHup Hotel is an awsome place to be. The Concept is special, and everything goes online, like the checkin/checkout, or the app so that you can use the diffrent light ambiance in your room.

We had a great time at CityHub, the staff was really helping while planning adventures during our stay, little issues with the ventilation in the capsules, it got slightly stuffy and the apps had it’s moments. I wish there were more resources available, for breakfast and the machines being more functional. Overall, good experience.

Finding parking was the only hassle we had. Probably the cleanest hostel I’ve been in from bathrooms to rooms to shared spaces. Great location downtown. Hot tub was a plus. Had no problems with noise during the sleep either. Would stay here again! The front area employees are super nice and helpful.

Reykjavik downtown relocation

Relocated from CityHub as the renovations work was being completed. The receptionist was really good in explaining the relocation to a nearby hotel where they added a free breakfast as well. Thank you.

So this is a mixed bag review. Love the concept and the hotel itself is really nice, well run, and convenient. The convenience machine was out of order and they ran out of beer at the bar, but otherwise it’s a nice facility. The problem ended up being that I had a massive case of jet lag that triggered claustrophobic panic due to the small, somewhat cramped, room. So I had to leave and get another, more traditional, hotel. That said, the staff were AMAZING in helping me out. The hot tub is great and the overall atmosphere is cozy. If you’re ok with small spaces and only staying for a night or two I think this ks a great option.

Reykjavik weekend stay

The hotel was undergoing refurbishment and they moved me to a lovely hotel a few minutes walk away. The compenation was a free breakfast. They informed me through email of the situation. I am really happy with the situation and wish City Hub the full success once they are fully open and all the work has been completed

Great location and price but very hot

Great location and price for a quirky hotel. It had every amenity I could ask for, but the temperature inside the capsule was very uncomfortable. The listing indicated air-conditioning and heating. After checking in we found out that we need to download an app to control the lights and ventilation. The problem was that I could only select ventilation boost on or off, but there was no change. I woke up multiple times dripping with sweat. I Raven took a cold shower at 2:00am but it didn’t help. This room is perfect if you enjoy sleeping in a hot room without air flow.
