Beautiful location in Wagner. It is at the top of a hill overlooking the little town. Is is a short walk from the train station, but the hotel will send a driver if you ask. Everyone at the front desk were very helpful and friendly and the food at the restaurant was delicious.

Excellent hotel, the staff were friendly and incredibly committed to making our stay nice. Overall good condition, only minor nitpick was that one of the two mattresses were not the most comfortable and probably in need of updating.

Claims to be a ski in and ski out property. That is misleading. The main ski slope runs some distance away from the hotel and to get to or from the hotel you need traverse via various roads several hundred metres. The property is dated and requires updating, particularly given the high price point (approx 500 CHF per night). On the positive, the staff were generally friendly.

The transfer service between train station and hotel was superb. The view was fantastic and facilities were good. Breakfast was good but varieties were average. Enjoyed in the small pool with warm water prior breakfast. Price at the high side, expect to have more against the price paid.

Pascal and his team at the hotel were fantastic. Always attentive. Always friendly. Always helpful and knowledgeable. Our room was perfect. The scenery was breathtaking. We will definitely come back here if our travels bring us back to the Jungfrau region.

I wish their shuttle was available little longer hours in evening for local transportation or had contracted rates for taxi. Their website said room was only 107 Sq feet, so I was a bit worried but actually room was almost 270 sq feet. They should correct it, then they will get more customers.

Beautiful area. Terrific service. Very nice rooms. Only difficulty was finding it. Booked the place to be near Grindelwald. Only 10 km away. As the crow flies. Getting there from Grindelwald involves driving to Lauterbrennen and taking a train to Wengen. None of which is explained on the Orbitz site. And Google maps tries to route you there on mountain roads that terminate a few Kms from the town, on the wrong side of the mountain. But a beautiful stay once we figured out how to get there

This property is beautifully situated and well worth the uphill walk to reach it. I truly couldn’t stop looking at the lush green landscape and alps. It looked like a painting. The staff are all top notch. There are many amenities and I had a wonderful massage by Ramona(I think). The buffet breakfast was fantastic and included eggs/omelettes to order. The only 1 complaint was that the fridge in our room smelled really bad. We mentioned this twice to the front desk. They said they had it cleaned which I believed but the stench was still apparent. We should have been more forceful and requested a replacement fridge. The odor was so bad that it permeated the bed area as well as the sitting area. I highly recommend this property.

The check in and concierge were all wonderful. The view was breathtaking. Unfortunately the restaurant needs some improving. We were very perplexed about the level of attentiveness and service. At dinner everyone was running in different directions, never asking the tables if they needed anything. The strange thing was that there were only a handful of tables with guests seated. We could not figure out an explanation for the running in circles. The next morning was a new experience. Staff was attentive and food was timely. We have no idea what happened the night before. It was bizarre.l and very disappointing aa we only had one night in Switzerland. Overall, you couldnt have asked for a more spectacular setting! I hope to return.
