Not a great room for the $456 NYE Rate
My room was extremely stuffy. The airflow was terrible and I ended up having a hard time breathing. Also, the shower is poor. I had to get all the way in BEFORE I could turn the water on. The water ran out of the shower onto the floor terribly! Staff were friendly and kind.

AP In New York
Not the best stay in a Hotel we have had. Didn’t have hot water for 36 Hours after complaining twice. The tea and coffee facilities were very poor. The air conditioning in the room was very noisy so had to turn it off overnight, but because the draft from the window was terrible the room remained very cold.

Lovely experience overall. Room was a bit tired but comfortable. Lighting was very dark, felt like night time in the day (for reference, we were staying on lower floors so a lot of sunlight was blocked by the surrounding buildings).

Good for a couple of nights
My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights. Location was good. We had a high floor room with a nice view. The room was a nice size but the bathroom could use some updating. The Front desk service was great but the service in the rooftop bar was kind of slow. Overall though, we would stay here again.

Good, but could be better.
The only thing missing was a small convenience store inside the hotel. And a microwave somewhere for guest use.

The hotel was fine, but there are a few things that I didn't like. I booked the room and it said it was 300 plus square feet, it was not even close., I would have booked a different hotel had I known this. There were no washcloths in the bathroom, 2 bath towels, two hand towels, no bath mat for the floor, and no robe. Also no coffee unless you buy it at the in house restaurant. The location is good, though.

Location was great. There was only a shower and we were not given the right towels for a bathroom floor mat/towel and were only given one bath towel even though the room was a double bed room and we had two adults. The toilet paper was so thin like rice paper and it was difficult to get more. The room faced the back and therefore had no light. Never knew if it was cloudy outside or not. The coffee maker did not work. On the good side it was within walking distance to everything we needed. The room was not glamorous but it had the basics of what we needed.

I knew New York was going to be expensive, but I think there’s a certain expectation of Hilton hotels and this simply doesn’t live up to it. The rooms are tiny to the point of not having enough space to put down 2 suitcases and be able to walk around comfortably and the bathroom is very average. Normally you wouldn’t spend a lot of time in your hotel room when visiting New York as a tourist but I got a severe flu the day we arrived so we were confined there and it got a bit claustrophobic. That aside - we had a major issue with hot water in our room for 3 out of the 4 nights we were there and had maintenance in our room really late at night 2 nights in a row and we got so many differing stories from it was just our room, to it was the entire hotel, to the fact that it was cold outside so it took hours for the hot water to heat. It was so ridiculous and I ended up getting compensation from Expedia because we were unable to even have a hot shower for most of the stay. Also - beware of the parking situation!!! The parking garage they have an arrangement with doesn’t speak English supposedly and seem to use that to not explain why they’re overcharging you. If you have any kind of SUV, you will get charged for an oversized vehicle which is insane considering the size of most vehicles in the US. They have no policy in place for this pricing and will not release your vehicle unless you pay whatever they say. There is easy walkability to the Subway and some food options.

I felt for the most part, the staff was very responsive and accommodating, but my room was cleaned everyday, yet the shampoo dispenser was never filled. I had to call down and ask for shampoo. In addition, I had to ask two different occasions for regular coffee because housekeeping only gave me decaf. Overall, it is an average hotel, and I honestly think the housekeeping issue is a training problem, not personnel. However, they were very responsive when I called and asked for the items. No robe or slippers, just a fyi for those that like those items.

Perfect location. Just far enough away to be more quiet. Cloae enough you can easily walk or take the subway around. The bed was so comfortable, and I'm a picky bed person. Enjoyed the rooftop bar for drinks with a view.
