Decent hotel for tour groups

Hotel was okay. Everything was clean. Staff was not particularly friendly or helpful. Fitness center had limited hours (why is it not open 24/7?) and required a reservation, so only 1 person per hour could use it. Very limiting.

Nice hotel, uninterested staff with poor service

The hotel is nice but the staff was not interested in us as guests. No one greeted us when we arrived, said welcome, asked how our stay was or even looked at us. Totally anonymous. I felt rather unwelcome and I got a feeling that we were more of a trouble to them, rather than a customer. The hotel was good itself, but we will not come back given our experince the staff. Soviet era attitude!

Good location, good basic hotel

Good location, spacious room. Comfortable and clean hotel. Free parking and decent breakfast. It was not mentioned at the hotel page that only the morning sauna is free of charge and during weekends you have to pay 11 euros /person. This should have been mentioned. Otherwise the spa area was nice though.

The Hotel Tartu is an afforable and excellent place to stay in Tartu (Estonia). The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The staff very courteous and helpful. The breakfasts are great. Highly recommended.

I was there for a conference. The rooms and hotel itself were pretty basic and the area is a little strange. It has kind of eerie feel to it which I cannot put my figure on. I will say this I wish I discovered the Sauna on the first day it was great.

TThe property is situated in a great location with numerous shopping centers and restaurants within walking distance. The Tartu bus station is conveniently located across the street, providing easy access to Tallinn and other destinations. The breakfast at the cafe downstairs offered a variety of freshly prepared options and excellent service. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful and professional. It would have been more convenient if the hotel had a buggy to transport our 7 luggages to the room. Although the room was clean, it appeared that the bedsheets had not been changed from the previous guests. Unlike most hotels, the room did not have coffee or hot water machines. Additionally, there was no laundry service available, which could be inconvenient for guests on an extended stay.

Hotelli sijaitsi hyvällä paikalla. Lyhyt kävelymatka kaupoille ja vanhaan kaupunkiin. Hotelli vanhahko mutta siisti. Aamupala ok. Huoneessa ei ollut pullovesiä kuten useissa hotelleissa on. Huone siivotaan vain pyynnöstä. Aamusauna ja kylmä suihku kivat. Vain ylsi sauna käytettävissä. Poreallas ei meitä miellyttänyt oli huono istua ja vettä liian vähän. Huoneen lämpötilaa ei saa säädettyä, joten ikkunaa auki pitämällä sai vähän viilennystä.

Hyvällä paikalla rauhallinen hotelli

Kaikenkaikkiaan positiivinen kolmen yön vierailu. Sijainti on hyvä. Huone oli siisti, suihkun paine on aina se mikä jää mieleen niin hyvässä kuin pahassa. Ja melkoisen matalalla paineella viidennessä kerroksessa kyllä lirputeltiin. Ympäristön äänet ei juurikaan huoneeseen kantautuneet, eikä tarvinnut murehtia autosta eikä sen kyydissä olleista polkupyöristä. Joille oli pääoven vieressä myös hyvät runkotelineet. Sähköpyörän latausmahdollisuutta en kysynyt. Aamiainen oli perushyvä, mutta ravintola on melko pieni hotellin kokoon nähden.
