A lovely traditional family run hotel. Rooms a bit dated but very comfortable. We were treated with a beautiful welcome gift as we were there to celebrate our anniversary. Very nice hotel kitty corner to the train station. Short walk to the main square and the river. There is noise from the street cars that run until about midnight. It didn't bother us but if you're sensitive to street noise it might be an issue.

Rip Off! We paid AUD $1,600 per night for an 18m2 room, with a Queen Bed that guaranteed we couldn’t open our suitcases. When Basel agreed to host Eurovision 2025, they could not have perceived of such financial exploitation. This Hotel has a great location, but dirty rooms and a disgusting breakfast. We will not be back!
