Awful! Somebody entered our apartment at 1am with a key card, said they'd been told this was their apartment. They had been remotely told to go and get the master key from a lock box and given our apartment number. Staff were not concerned just said sorry it was a mix up in rooms. Staff also tried to blame the other guests saying it was their fault they entered the room. Also, no staff on site when the master card given out. No check-in information sent prior despite booking stating they would contact 24hrs before. Arrived at 1pm after receiving an email where to check in and my apartment number. Returned at 3pm for check-in, room had not been cleaned since the previous guests (dirty beds, alcohol bottles etc) staff told us to go out or to wait with the cleaner in the dirty apartment around them cleaning. Cleaner arrived as we did. Couldn't get into our apartment until 4pm. Building door code is unreliable and we were stranded outside at 11pm waiting another guest to come out so we could get in, contacted the host and did not get an answer. Bathroom had bugs in the shower and was unclean. Staff were unprofessional. Building itself is very old and rundown - lift is broken, staircase is dark with no light. The apartment doors do not have an internal lock, if the master card is given out anyone can enter. Never known an apartment to give out the master card to guests. Also states housekeeping everyday, nobody came to clean the room/ change towels.
