We really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, our experience on Tuesday morning, Dec. 24th ended up dropping our over all experience from great to poor. We were having breakfast downstairs on the morning of 12/24, and the following occurred. Our oldest daughter noticed that her bowl of fruit was bad/rancid. Fortunately, that prevented two of our 4 kids from eating more. Unfortunately, our youngest son and daughter had already eaten most of their bowls of fruit, and I had already taken too many bites of my bowl of fruit. Then I went over to get a banana. It looked like most of the bananas were brown"ish", no longer good. When I sat down and tried to open the banana I noticed that it was super soft/squishy/bad. The entire stack of bananas (about 6-12" tall) on the buffet counter, by the rest of the food was bad/ the same color. On our drive back to Colorado, our youngest daughter and I had our share of intestinal issues, and our youngest son got sick twice on the way home. Again, loved our stay other than this incident. And just wishing that someone working in the food department/area would have taken it upon themselves to note that this fruit was not ideal for public consumption. Definitely contributed to a "not so fun" ride home on the last day of our vacation.

The property is in need of updates. The windows were very dirty and there were rips in the mattress covering. There are no overhead lights and the lamps did not produce enough lighting. The free breakfast was good.
