Wonderful short trip.

Staff is wonderful. Most speak some English. Breakfast (if you’re used to Turkish breakfast) was outstanding. Great pool, private beach. My only complaint not walkable.

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the views! Outstanding picturesque but that’s it needs major refurbishing the cleaning rooms staff have no idea of the word cleaning, they use the room mops laying on the floor outside then use it to clean the rooms inside disgusting

We have never stayed hotels like that. Everything was absolutely terrible. Customer service was awful. Don’t waste your money. There is much better hotels around there. Will never go there again !

Beware

Aweful in every way, not clean, not functioning, awful food. The staff was mostly very friendly and tried to help except the management, but that in no way makes up for the deficiencies of the property. Easily the worst IHG property I've been to.

Good Stay but Terrible Food

The hotel is quite big, so be ready for a lot of walking between the reception, the rooms, and the beach. For the price, I’d say the quality is fair. My room was clean, spacious, and had good air conditioning. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. What really let the place down was the food. Breakfast had lots of options, but honestly, everything tasted bland and looked unappealing. The restaurant itself was such a disappointment that I didn’t even want to pass by it because of the smell. Definitely not the place to eat.

The view from this hotel is unbeatable. The staff was all super friendly and so kind during our stay. However, housekeeping was severely lacking. My husband and I had one towel for the first few days, then NO towels -- they even took the towel out of my husbands suitcase that he brought from home. My mom ran out of toilet paper her last day. The toilets also ran constantly and wouldn't stop for a long time no matter what we tried. And the elevators sometimes worked, sometimes didn't. If you have any type of mobility issues there is no way that you can access the entire resort. I did have an illness while on the holiday and the medical staff helped get me to a doc, pharmacy, and it was a very smooth process. All in all, it was a fine stay -- especially for the money. And the staff worked SO hard. From sun up to sun down they were all there with a smile on their faces. Such kind, amazing people!

Chilled Week in Beautiful Surroundings

For the price we paid we were more than happy with our stay at The Holiday Inn, Bodrum. Our check-in was smooth and we were shown to our room, which would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to the number of steps and general logistics of getting around the hotel. We were more than happy with our room which had comfortable firm beds, endless supply of bottled water, tea & coffee and Dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner! All staff we encountered were polite and helpful we had no issues with language barrier. Surroundings were stunning and we loved the chilled vibe around the pool which always had plenty of free sunbeds which were comfortable and beach towel available to use daily. The breakfast options do cater more for Turkish, middle Eastern guests but we loved the bread, omelettes, cheese, fresh fruit, honey and there was plenty of choice but don't go expecting an english breakfast! We spoke to other guests whose experience was different to ours so aware that this is the reason for the differing reviews currently for this hotel but for us we had no complaints.

The staff were rude throughout the entire property, with the exception of the one hostess at the beach bar. Everyone had an attitude as if you were inconveniencing them. My room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned upon arrival and additionally the tv wasn’t working at all.

The staff are very friendly, however we did have a few issues during our stay. Our aircon was not working and the toilet wouldn’t flush and although these were fixed it was very inconvenient to arrive to those issues. In addition, the lift was often broken or took ages, and there are also a lot of stairs you have to walk up in the hotel where there are no lifts. This was very tiring in 36 degree heat. The breakfast was average and so was the snack bar.

Great hotel, affordable during the off-season

Beautiful hotel for an affordable rate during the off-season in September. The room was good, but could’ve been more refined and polished. Somethings were broken and the toiletries weren’t stocked when we arrived. When asked, the receptionist was somewhat short with me, or perhaps this was just a misinterpretation! The amenities were great and everywhere was a great vantage point. Getting around the hotel was difficult, there are lots of stairs! It is really big and can be hard to navigate. The signage to navigate could be better and better explained by staff. We never got round to using the spa and opted to use the pool vs the “private beach” when we stayed in. We did make some requests (a room close to stairs/elavator during booking and a bathtub due to mobility issues, but these weren’t seen by the hotel and when requested them at check-in they said they couldn’t offer anything further and were booked out. We were also told our room had a sea view, but this was debatable! Finally, one evening there was a party/rave seemingly at Bodrum Castle which is in view from the hotel. It was audible from the hotel, but not enough to keep us from sleeping. Overall, a good hotel experience.

We had a cockroach in the one morning we woke up. Brought it up with both reception and customer relations. The receptionist said she would send someone to clean and sanitise the room. It was done but no further dialog, change of room or any compensation took place despite of another approach from our side to customer relations. He seemed to ”care” more than the receptionist and took notes but the hotel did not take any further actions. With kids in the room, this has clearly affected the whole experience very negatively where we noticed a huge lack of service mind in the staff and hotel management. A luxury hotel on the paper with great potential, but a very bad experience..

Our Disappointing Experience

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Money We returned to this hotel after a great experience 2 years ago — tasty food, quality drinks, friendly staff. This time, we brought family (5 adults, 1 child) and booked 2 luxury rooms, expecting the same standards. ❌ At check-in, we were shocked to learn that “All-Inclusive” was no longer valid — only breakfast included. No notice on the website, no meal plan options during booking. ❌ We were forced to pay 70,000 TL extra (35,000 per room, $1750) or leave(They wont refund). No help, no flexibility. Staff were cold, unhelpful, and dismissive. We've paid 107.000 TL before, total 177.000 TL for 4 days 🤡 🍽️ The food was a huge letdown: • Lunch = pizza, pasta, fries, wrap (often out of stock). • Dinner = same boring food daily. • Breakfast = repetitive and low quality. • Dirty utensils, cheap alcohol, poor desserts. Our child hardly ate — nothing suitable for kids. 🧹 Rooms were not clean, linens weren’t fresh, and the bathroom was subpar — unacceptable for the price. 🎭 No evening entertainment. 👶 No kids’ or adult activities. 🌊 The sea is beautiful, but that’s not thanks to the hotel. 🚫 No support 🚫 No transparency 🚫 No value for money We left disappointed. We won’t return — and don’t recommend it.

Yazacaklarım içler acısı korkutucu ve çok üzücü.Holiday marka ismine güvenmeyin Lütfen. 2 gece konaklamamızın ilk günün de havluların kirli lekeli olduğunu görmemiz ile başlayan serüven uyumak için nevresim takımları açtığımız da ayak izleri ile karşılaşmamız ile devam etti. Resepsiyonu gece saat 2 gibi ulaşamadık uzun süre uyuyamadık ve nevresim takımı istedik yeniden ve gelenler de hiç diğerlerinden farklı değil pis lekeli ve kötü kokuyordu. Banyoda öldürdüğüm 3 adet hamam böceği gecenin diğer acı parçası. Kahvaltı için restoran kısmı pis ve hijyenik değil. Bu ilk gecemizden sonra oda değişikliği talebi ile odadan ayrıldık ve günlük programlarımıza devam ettik akşam üzeri duş almak ve hazırlanmak için tekrar otele geldik Resepsiyondan yeni oda talebinde bulunduk ve orda sabah durumları konuştuğumuz resepsiyon görevlisi hanımefendi vardı. Bize yeni oda verdi Anabina da ilk odamızın bulunduğu katta valizlerimiz alıp yeni odaya geçiş yaptık ama ne ile karşılaşalım. Resepsiyon bize başka misafirin konakladığı odayı vermiş oda kapısı arkadan zincir ile sınırlandırma olmasa biz başka otel misafirinin kişilik mahrumiyet haklarını çiğnemiş olacaktık ve bu durum gerçekten her iki taraf içinde çok can sıkıcı ve üzücü.Tekrar dönüp bu odanın dolu olduğunu söylediğimde bizlere inanmayıp dolu olmasının imkansız olduğunu söyleyerek kontrol ettirdiğini iddaa etti ve dolu olduğunu konusunda ekipleri ile görüşerek karar verdiler.Bize yeni oda vermek istediler kabul etmedik veoteldenAYRILDIK
