Nice hotel great location
Great location and lovely reception team. The breakfast isn't worth it. I thought safety would be an issue as you're right on the road but all was good

Decent Room, But ...
The room was very clean, with a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. However, there was no comfortable chair -- just 2 hard plastic ones -- and no dresser or chest of drawers, so we had no place to put our clothing. We had to live out of our suitcase for 3 days. If it were not for those two things I would be willing to stay again.

This place is a gem!
This place was such a pleasant surprise. Came in from Buffalo NY for a cruise and stayed 2 nights. The staff was so friendly and the place was so tidy. The staff was constantly cleaning up and keeping it beautiful. If we ever cone back to Miami we will most definitely stay here!

Enjoyed it, despite a problem
Enjoyed my stay at this cool hotel, only one problem that the helpful, friendly staff failed to sort out. I had paid a premiuim for a deluxe room with a balcony overlooking the pool but they ended up putting me in a ground floor standard room looking out at parked cars! Either Hotels.com hadn't communicated that I'd paid extra for a first floor room or the hotel had decided to ignore this fact in full knowledge. I still like the hotel. There are really good restaurants close by....Municielo's opposite, an award winning Italian pizza restaurant, Route 66 next door, a good Mexican and Wagyeira round the corner, a truly fantastic steak experience serving wagyu steaks from cattle bred on their own ranch in florida....truly amazing! The bus stop is more or less outside the hotel and it only costs $2.25 to go down ro miami! Buses every 20 minutes, so convenient.
World class pizza

Okay stay
We stayed in the pool view suite that had a private balcony. It was a quiet place nobody around. The suite itself was huge and had a little bit of furniture. It was fine for a two day stay. The area was pretty walkable good Mexican right next door and a farmers market across from the street on Saturday morning. The staff was nice. The only downsides were the room had an overpowering cleaning smell that would not go away. And the parking in the back is very very tight so it was hard to get in and out. The bathroom sink needs some drain-o and the keypad didn’t work on certain numbers needs to be fixed. Other than that it was an okay stay.

Wouldn't stay again.
Room was ok. It smelled so strong of cleaners it almost made you sick. The ceiling looked to have mold on it. Huge crack under the door which meant the busy street kept us up quite a bit. But other than that. It was ok.

It was a nice experience, it is a lovely cozy hotel, but the only thing I will suggest is to put some shelves in the bathroom. Other than that it was excellent and we will stay there again. Thank you.

2/10 Poor

Avoid this place.
Honestly I’ve never had a worse experience at hotel in 35 years of traveling. This is the first time the user reviews I feel are absolutely misleading and probably fake. The room was filthy. People arguing outside. Heavy marijuanna odor. Simply unacceptable especially traveling with kids. Make sure to pre pay so you can actually have this site / app fight for your refund. Truly a nightmare scenario on my daughters birthday no less avoid at all costs unless that environment is your thing

Great, updated hotel. Cute, courtyard for coffee and morning bagels. Nice selection of bottles of wine in lobby. Rooms facing the street are noisy from car traffic.
