Stayed here for the Come and Take Festival. Love the history aspect of this hotel and Maggie at the front desk was very welcoming and helped make our stay even more enjoyable. Suggestions would include coasters to protect the furniture, either plastic or real drinking glasses, bottled water available in the room, would also be nice to have wine or Prosecco available for purchase along with a small charcuterie board. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Gonzales.

The Alcalde Hotel is really such a nice place to stay. Gonzales has such historical significance in Texas History, and the Alcalde adds its own historical value to Gonzales. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable, and the furnishings and decorations were very nice. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

The Alcalade Hotel
Very well maintained Historical Hotel. Clean and vintage style rooms. Manager was nice and accommodating. Patriot Coffee was so good! Kids and hubby loved the blueberry muffins and bananas in the morning. We will definitely be back!
