Since I stayed last time, the hotel had some improvements.
The room was clean and comfortable enough.
However, the air conditioner makes some random and very irritating noise. Fortunately, during the night it was chilly enough to set it off and we could sleep.
We appreciated the possibility to leave our bags at the reception the day we arrived and we left.
On the other hand, we did not appreciate at all the staff refusing to fill up our bottles when we came back to pick up the bags, “because we had already checked out and therefore water could only be sold”.
After three nights spent in the hotel, during a heatwave with more than 30C, and also considering that in Esslingen tap water is drinkable, I found this very annoying. It’s common sense and good manners, and this should be the basics for a hospitality manager/employee.
