Welcome to Paris

The bathroom is so small that 6 feet tal person cannot get in. It is impossible to seat on a toilet to any normal size person. Try to get out of the shower and you will have very painful experience. The air conditioning unit on a hot night will automatically switch to heating even if the termostate is set up at 12 degree centigrade. The pillows are literally disasters. They were made of stones. Enjoy your stay. And this is for 300 dollars per night. You can by torture cheaper.

The hotel is affordable at this time of year (mid-December). It is in the heart of Paris, next to the Louvre Museum, the Royal Jarden, and other significant sights like Notre Dame Cathedral. The hotel is old and tiny. In the end, we do not need a hotel; we need its surroundings.

Overall I had a good experience at Timhotel, staff were kind and the facilities were very good (good sized rooms, comfortable beds, good heating facilities, nice bathrooms, reasonable cupboard space and an in-room safe). The hotel is within close walking distance of the Louvre and there are many good cafes and restaurants around the corner (including traditional boulangeries selling classical french food) and a good sized shopping mall nearby - Westfield Forum Des Halles. Overall I had a good stay, the only slight negative as the cleanliness as some areas of the room were dusty (e.g. sliding panels for the bunkbeds) however hotel staff were friendly and receptive to feedback.

Amazing location being just a 5min walk away from the Louvre & Arch de Triomphe. The stay was so friendly & being 7 months pregnant the bed was super comfortable. Our room even had a fun bunk bed that our daughter loved! Cafes & restaurants on every corner. Would stay again!
