We booked and paid for our room a month and a half ago. Got to the hotel to check in and was told our room was not available and they only had a small room available. Would not stay here again.

Reliable and well run, room could be darker

Have stayed here many times on the way between Ontario and Halifax. Hotel generally well kept up. Quite busy and crowded during our stay, lots of families with children and pets, which gets noisy. Parking lot gets a bit tight and hard to find space when this busy, similarly the breakfast line does back up although staff are very diligent about keeping it tidy and stocked, so good on them for that. The lighting buttons in the room are illuminated and they are simply too bright at night. We had to find things to put in front of or stick over them. Overall, well run, reliable, everything you need but that light switch choice was a bad idea.
