My stay at Negril Palms was a little under “okay.”
I checked in around 6:00 PM and was extremely tired after traveling. The first room I was assigned had a lot of ants, which was very uncomfortable. I was then moved to a second room, but the key did not work. After going back and forth, I was finally given a third room that worked.
By that time, I was hungry, so I went to the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience there was disappointing. The male server (with a noticeable spot on his face) made me feel like I was bothering him. After I placed my dinner order, he never asked if I wanted a drink. I eventually had to go back to my room to get my own glass of wine.
Because of this experience, I did not eat at the hotel restaurant again during my stay. Instead, I found a restaurant near the hotel, where the service and food were amazing, and I had all of my meals there. (Miss Elliy)
Throughout my stay, there was constant noise and fighting, which made it difficult to relax. One morning, my car was blocked in, and I was almost late for an appointment.
Overall, I found the staff to be unfriendly and rude, and my experience did not meet expectations.
