If I could give no stars, I would. This property is a 45 minute train ride (2 separate fares needed) and a 10 minute walk from the train station. Broken glass on sidewalks, streets littered with trash. To reach the hotel, you walk through a BMW dealership driveway to arrive at the Holiday Inn Alcorcon-Madrid. Horrible, nowhere in the description does it state this.

Excellent breakfast and clean roon...the building as seen lots of traffic. Near the highway. Near the Tres Aguas shopping center with plenty of restaurants and even a supermarket. Taking the Metro to Madrid was suoer easy!

Staying here was fine. It was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. There were several small maintenance issues we came across, none of them terrible but it cheapened the experience. Things like loose screws in towel rods, lifting vinyl tiling in bathrooms, etc. The continental breakfast was sufficient but nothing special. The location was a little difficult to navigate but on foot, there is a large shopping mall within 5 minutes with restaurants and shopping/theater. Overall, not a bad experience but certainly nothing to write home about. I would stay here again if I needed something quick and inexpensive, but if I wanted to spend quality time in my hotel I would need someone else.
