However, on the morning I was awakened by loud music. The housekeeping staff had turned the music up to full volume on her phone, placed it in front of my door, and was cleaning a room at the end of the corridor. My friend had arrived at the hotel at 4 AM, and we wanted to rest. When I warned her, she began shouting at me rudely, saying things like, "You can't tell me what music to listen to, who do you think you are, I don't have to ask you what to do, it's too late to be sleeping." She aggressively scolded me in front of my friend. Even after I closed the door and went back to my room, she continued to insult and shout at me. I have stayed in and worked at many hotels, and I am still working in this industry, so I know the procedures very well. This behavior is completely unacceptable. I did not pay for a staff member to shout at and scold me in the morning. I went to the reception to speak with a manager, but there was none. Only the receptionist listened to me, but nothing was done. No one apologized for this gross disrespect or followed up with me. It was the worst accommodation experience I've ever had.
