Unacceptably dirty room & unsympathetic management
I honestly cannot recommend this hotel and I find the positive reviews to be inexplicable. I arrived late in the evening after a 12 hour train journey. My room had an overbearing smell of sewage and the level of cleanliness and overall condition was such that I couldn't stay there. I found the hotel management to be unsympathetic. After complaining, they did transfer me to another room for the first night. This room was far from ideal, but in better condition. However, they stated that I would have to move back to the original room for nights 2 and 3 because they didn't have any space. They were not prepared to refund me for those nights so I could make arrangements to go elsewhere. After a long, late evening conversion with hotels.com customer service, they eventually issued me with a refund for nights 2 and 3 by hotels.com. I was then able to book another property a few minutes walk away which turned out to be great. After this awful evening of arguing with the hotel and being on hold for nearly 2 hours with hotels.com, the breakfast the next morning was better than expected. The quality of the food was average for Italy, but there was a pretty extensive selection.

Hotel staff had lack of knowledge
Upon our check out, we were told of a train and bus strike. We were heading from Napoli to Rome by train. Asked about alternatives, and was told to go to train station and grab a cab. We took a cab that was ordered to go to train station. He agreed to take us to Rome for 500.00 euros. We thought we had no choice. Hotel should have helped us since strikes are frequent they had no clue about private busses to go to Rome for about 60.00 euros. Very disappointed in lack of knowledge or trying to help us in anyway. The hotel in Rome couldn’t believe that this hotel could not provide us with alternatives. No initiative. Very disappointed. We over spent because hotel gave us no options. It would be nice if hotel offered us some compensation.

A very good hotel in the heart of Naples. Great staff, spacious and comfortable room, we even had a nice view of the city from our window. The hotel has a great private courtyard for relaxing and eating breakfast. Very nice! And the included breakfast was fabulous! It is close to walking to many sites in Naples. I highly recommend it if you want to explore the sites in Naples including museums, restaurants, and various interesting neighborhoods!

Located in the heart of the Centro Storico, this hotel is a great location for exploring Naples. The Archaeological Museum is about two blocks away as is the Metro. The hotel's staff could not be nicer, especially Giuseppi, Vincenzo, and Erika.

Very friendly staff & nice property. Unfortunately we were given a room with non-functional air conditioning (unit ran but didn't cool). The front desk sent maintenance up for a check but there was nothing that could be done and all other rooms were full. We were given a fan but it was a hot & stuffy night in the room. It was rainy/humid so couldn't sleep with the windows open. Our area on the 4th floor seemed much warmer than the hallways and common areas of the property so our stay was rather uncomfortable. Had the AC worked it would have been a pleasant stay.

It’s Positano, so nothing it’s really easy, you have to park the car and then climb 65 stairs down and then the same number up when you reave. The hotel made it easy by arranging parking with a nearby parking and by providing a free porter.

Stayed in this fantastic Hotel for 5 nights. Beautiful building and our room faced the courtyard it was totally quiet so a good nights sleep. The entrance felt like you were stepping into a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of Naples. Staff were wonderful and friendly and the Hotel is just a few minutes walk from Dante tube stop. The surrounding area is very quirky with lots of second hand books/record shops and a lovely book cafe. 5 mins stroll from all the main attractions including the famous museum. Absolutely had a fabulous time and would definitely book if I’m lucky enough to return to Naples.

This is a perfect stay if you’re flying in or out of Naples. The hotel is very safe and clean. We needed to be buzzed into the area after a certain time. The front desk if 24/7, they helped us get a taxi for a very early flight. They gave us a map of things to do in the area. Would completely stay here again.
