We loved the fireplace and the views from the balcony. The room was big and conformable. Common are great room was beautiful and stocked with board games to play on a quiet, relaxing evening. The location is not to far from Port Angeles but feels very remote, like you are deep in the woods but without all the people you find at places like Sul Duc or Lake Crescent Lodge, but still very close to both.

Only suggestion for improvement - bathroom. 1)No hooks to hang cloths, 2)light over bathroom mirror very inadequate, 3)no bathroom cabinets to set toiletries, 4)shower head very high for short people - would be nice if shower head were on adjustable height rod. Otherwise, nice little gem in the forest. May be difficult to find in the dark.

If you’re looking for somewhere completely off the grid with no TV or employees on site, this place is perfect. It has charming decor and you’re in a secluded area surrounded by a meadow where we were lucky to see Elk and deer graze. However, for the price, I would have expected more amenities and thicker walls, rather than signs to please “mediate” the sound.
