The property itself is lovely and the rooms are spacious with very comfy (new) beds. Generous amount of towels given and nice bathroom amenities. We received an upgrade which was a lovely surprise. Beautiful pools and the underwater aquarium is amazing. Buffet breakfast is pretty standard but has a nice view of the fish and aquariums. Few issues - 1. We arrived at 11am and had given prior notice we would be early, early checkin isn’t guaranteed which is fine however our room wasn’t ready until almost 3pm which is an hour after the guaranteed check in time of 2pm! 2. One end of the island looks like a derelict ghost town - everything is closed, the pool is out of order and generally looked rundown and forgotten about. 3. Room service is for nighttime only 4. No real lunch options available which is annoying since you can’t pop down the road to go get food. 5. Coffee pods not replenished daily. The Infinity restaurant is an absolute standout - the food is incredible and lovely staff there. Highly recommend eating here!!

Ignore all negative reviews! We are a family of 4, 2A 2K (12 & 8). Daydream Island was the best! Previous negative reviews worried me however found them to be completely untrue. My advice is call the resort if you have any questions or aren't clear on things. Rooms- Very clean, spacious Shower had great pressure, beds were so comfortable. Food was delicious and PLENTY! Breakfast had the same menu everyday but we stayed 6 nights and had something different every morning. Room service was available. Food delivered quickly (20 min), hot and very tasty. A great variety for kids and adults available. For lunch you can purchase from "the shack" until 3.30pm or from Salti restaurant (Mediterranean cuisine) Three restaurants open from lunch/Dinner until 8.30pm (booking advised for Salti and Infinity (Asian cuisine). Graze is the 3rd restaurant (ala carte/room service) Honestly, everything we ate were tasty, big servings. Pool bar- they have their own drink menu but will make what you request. A little patience is needed, however no different to any other places we've stayed at. Gift shop sells drinks/snacks/necessities. Customer service - WOW. Everyone was welcoming, smiles on their faces, happy to help. Dylan welcomed us and was so nice and informative. A massive thank you and recognition of these staff for being amazing... Pacifique, Amelia, Reine, 2 girls in the Pool Bar (unfortunately I didnt get their names) and a very sweet Islander gentleman whose name began with C.
