The owners were delightful people. They had renovated and decorated the small hotel, store, and restaurant themselves. The food was delicious in the restaurant. The service was excellent. The EC Reed Hotel and Mercantile was an excellent place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding!!! The only thing I would recommend is blinds on the windows in addition to curtains and upgrade the doors to block the light.

The owners and workers are very friendly, the rooms are very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Their kitchen had a great breakfast, country fried ham was a huge hit. We will definitely be back.

Nice quaint hotel
This is a quaint hotel in a small town. The owners and staff were very nice and accommodating. We had an issue with the air conditioner, mentioned it to the owner and it was fixed by the time we returned to our room. The hot breakfast in the attached cafe was delicious (not complimentary) and the free coffee, cookies and muffins were above average. Would definitely recommend this hotel if coming to this part of Missouri
