We booked the weekend for Rock the Kootenays and couldn't have asked for better accommodation. jim is amazing and the rest of the staff also friendly and welcoming. This property was everything we needed and more. The staff were extremely kind, helpful and friendly. Jim, the manager, was fabulous! The location was within walking distance of the downtown district and there was plenty of parking on the hotel’s private parking lot. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. I have stayed at the Baker Hotel a few times this year. It is clean, the rooms I have been in have a little kitchen with a microwave and coffeemaker. Bed is comfortable. Awesome pillows. Always quiet. The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly.

The room itself is clean, comfortable, and quiet. There is a safety concern with the third floor guardrail (loose spindles) and the stair handrail doesn't go all the way to the top of the third floor.
