I would have given it 5 stars if the indoor pool had not been under construction, but everything else was on point. And the young lady who was working at the front desk was only on the job for 3 days and did a great job. My only other issue is once I left the room. The key would not opened my door so I would have to go to the front office every time to have my key reactivated.

Comfortable Stay

This hotel was perfect for a day after driving. The rooms were clean and the beds extremely comfortable. We swam in the indoor pool and grabbed a drink from the bar. Would 100% recombed this hotel.

Everything was great and the place was really nice, but we didn’t know that the pool was closed until we had already booked it and were checking in. I think they really should have that updated online. Luckily they let us use the residence Inn pool, which was outdoor and nice, but made it very crowded. it shows that there is a bar, but they only serve beer and wine, but it does have a nice little convenience market that you could buy your own snacks and drinks and the room has a decent view windows open and clean amenities.

Great Friday Family Trip

The Staff was the highlight of our stay. The Gentleman working the Bistro & the Young Lady working the front Desk this Friday Evening (5/23/2025) were extremely accomodating and made our stay with two small children feel as easy as staying home. From the quick drink/food service to the fact they had a crib available to bring to our room for our 14 month old baby, it was like staying at a relative's house that just loves hosting. The staff working the bistro & front desk Saturday morning were just as friendly, and maybe even more accommodating. The pool was closed, but the 200ft walk to the Residence Inn was no hassle. I also need to mention that the Bistro food was very good, so we didn't feel a need to make the trek downtown. That alone was a great surprise, since we assumed we'd have to load up the kids just to grab some food. Overall this a fantastic stay, and we would absolutely book another room here the next time we come to Chico.

I travel often and stay at hotels regularly, this was an unusual start..Honestly my check in experience was terrible, a newer front desk staff was very rude and didn’t even try to be polite let alone offer basic level of customer service for no reason whatsoever, as I was trying to make small talk and say hi when I walked in, he didn’t respond and literally made me and my daughter feel unwelcome and uncomfortable..BUT I had stayed at this hotel before and all other staff have been great, so I decided to speak to a seasoned front desk staff and the manager the next day. They were both receptive, kind and very supportive. I felt heard and assured that it was being addressed, and they took very good care of us for the rest of our stay. This is a clean, quiet, well kept hotel, great for families or work trips. The food is great, the gym well equipped and prices are fair. I will be returning and feel confident that such an incident is unusual. Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel. Very clean. Excellent accommodations. Staff was vey nice especially 2 employees I'd like to mention. Angela and Alicia both both went out of their ways to make the staff extra comfortable. Props out 2 those ladies. They deserve a bonus. Only complaint is the lock the back door (east side 1st floor) does not work very well. Have to slide card at least a dozen times to unlock. But will definitely be staying there again.
