Terrible stay.
Stains on the carpet, not enough toilet paper for the duration of the stay (staff was of course unable to reach), the floor boards were lifting from previous water damage, mirror was broken, water went cold towards the end of shower, not enough towels (again, staff was unable to reach) and some of the blinds were missing.

St Patty's day Hockey trip
The facilities were clean, well kept, and in a perfect location right downtown, close to where we needed to go for the hockey game. The only knock on the place was the timing of the check-in (5:00 pm) was a little late in the day, and no where to site in the lobby of the building to wait, especially for a senior citizen with mobility issues.

Eventhough the building and unit were beautiful, the bed/bedding/pillows were pretty uncomfortable and the bathroom amenities/towels were lacking.

Excellent location and great view
The place lived up to its promise. The location is excellent, offering a pleasant view. However, there were a few loose wooden floor pieces that didn’t bother us much, but they could pose a potential fall hazard.

It was very convenient to everything that we wanted to visit. The property was a bit dated, needed to update the rugs and some parts of flooring, but overall was clean.

Fraud
Avoid! This is a fraudulent operation. Once a reservation is made, the hosts demand a $300 “safety deposit” for the duration of the stay – but the deposit is then never repaid to guests.

the fridge make water and the door for the bathroom don't close and the remote tv work's very bad.
This is third time in a row we came at The Bay Suite and we already loved it and recommended it!

Honestly this shouldn’t be on hotels.com. This is someone’s condo they are renting out. We had to meet someone at a different location to get keys & put a deposit down on a third party site (which I did get back). It was overall a good stay but this seems like an Airbnb.

Absolutely do not book this apartment.
I usually don’t leave reviews and I’m not a picky traveler — I’m fine with simple places as long as they’re honestly advertised.
But this was a joke. We left after one night. The place was not clean, outdated, and nothing like the pictures (the same place but a few years apart). I feld scammed You self-check-in, realize you've been misled, and there's no really ways to get any help beside contacting customer service.
Customer service from the host — they just said “sorry for the inconvenience” and did nothing.
Thankfully, Hotels.com was very helpful, but I don’t understand how they keep listing properties like this without verifying the photos.
Might barely work for one night if you just need a bed near Union Station or Scotiabank Arena — but even then...

Fantastic location and great view. Vicky was wonderful for check-in. Apartment felt a bit run down (i.e. hole in wall, toilet paper roll falling down) but was very clean and spacious. Overall we were very impressed with our stay!

I think the best you can find for its price was the location in downtown toronto, very clean, very stylish and very nice apartment. Thank you very much for everything. I think people are looking for an excuse for bad comments. Everything is great. I was very worried after reading the comments but everything was perfect. my experience 10 / 10

Been in better
The cleaning was skipping corners. there was still shavings in the crack between the sink and counter that came out when I was using it. It had a big bottle of soap that still had hair under the cap stuck in the soap...
They meet you at the building next door and wont come in the building to show you where to go. I think this is no a legal airBnB.
Then you just leave the key on the counter and leave the door unlocked when you leave. If someone else walks in and steals or wrecks the place, I can be liable.
