Nice Place To Stay Passing Thru Rural Area

I stayed one night in an emergency. Really great price, easy booking, key boxes help check-in & the place was very clean. Fridge, clean towels.

This motel is more of a camper site or for hunters. We love it because of the location to uptown cadiz. Very roomy apartment. The staff is very responsive and accomodating.

8/10 Very good

The staff was very considerate of my time. We arrived late, and the property manager allowed us to switch our days so that we would not lose anything.
Tina, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Old motel but kept up and very clean. Extremely simple but tasteful decor. Windows that open, a ceiling fan, chairs under a covered porch, and a communal fire pit and charcoal grill. I love this motel and feel it is a great value. I do not love hotels that are all shut up with no fresh air and no place to be outside. If you are like me you will especially love this place.

6/10 Good

Good for a night

Out of the way, small motel could use some updates. No nighttime staff available. Does not offer any kind of continental breakfast or anything but very close to town. Seem to be a peaceful area though you can tell that some families actually live at this motel, which is fine. Definitely not bad for a night.
Stephanie, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Worth the cost.

I booked it on-line through a discount site and it was worth the price. There was no one there when I went to check-in and I didn't realize that there was a lock-box on my door I thought it was on the office door and used the wrong one, after I contacted the owner that got straightened out. The room was kinda dated, but big enough to be comfortable. Everything worked and the bed was comfy. There was no coffee or breakfast available.

10/10 Exceptional

Staff were very polite and accommodated our late check in and made check out super easy. We loved the close parking, ceiling fan and large room space. Beds were a bit old and creaky, but we slept good. We woke up stuffy, but we have allergies. We know it is possible dogs stayed in the room previously and I am allergic. The biggest negative was the scented air freshener in the room. I am highly sensitive to smells / scents and I found it nauseating. After placing it outside, and airing the room out for 20 minutes, the room no longer bothered me. A loud fan ran constantly on in the bathroom, but this sound was negated by closing the bathroom door and running the ceiling fan. There was no way to turn off this fan. Definitely recommend staying here if you need a place to stay for a few nights as it makes for a great 'base camp' to do things. We wish we would have stayed two nights instead of one. We were traveling for the annular solar eclipse 2023.

6/10 Good

It was quiet. Only one other room rented. No staff on site. The "simple" code entry to get into my room was anything but simple. I tried the code 10 times on the obvious panel attached to the inner door handle. Failed every time. It was an outside entry (a motel, not a hotel as advertised). The temp was 19 degrees F. The closed office had an emergency phone number. I called it, no one answered. I left a message that I was quite unhappy that their "emergency" phone number was not attended. I called it back again and the owner of the motel answered and insisted that the code was very simple and I had to be doing something wrong. He had me wait, called his manager who only attended the motel office from10 to 2 each day (4 hours). She called me, told me the code was simple. I was doing something wrong. I insisted I was entering the code exactly as instructed. Finally, she asked me which code box I was using. I asked her what did she mean by that, how many are there supposed to be? She says there is a code box on the right side high above the line of sight besides the obvious one on the inner door handle. Sure enough, there it was, unnoticeable unless one was specifically looking for it. I entered the code and it opened right up. I asked her why neither she nor the owner thought it unnecessary to tell customers there was a second code box when the very obvious one showed immediately when you opened the door? My fingers were nearly frozen stiff. I was not happy.

8/10 Very good

Good communication. If you show up after 2pm, you have to call the number on the office door. Lady was courteous and helpful. This is an older facility but has been well kept. Heat was not great (baseboard) but I did arrive around 1am. Room didn't warm up much overnight but was bearable. Would stay here again if I get out this way.

Nothing fancy, but clean & comfy

I stayed 1 night. Nice pillows & beds. Bathroom wasn't top-tier condition, but everything worked & the water was hot. Lady called me the morning before I stayed there to say she'd be away from the office by the time I get to the room, but she told me where to find the key. Quiet location, good place cheapest in the area (that still has good Google reviews). I'm totally making this my regular stop for my visits to the area! :)
