Room was clean and large. Comfy bed. Very minimalist kind of room. Easy access off of 95, and couldn’t hear highway noise! Breakfast was lacking…never brewed a fresh pot of decaf coffee! They had homemade jam for English muffins.

Such a cute hotel! The upgrades all look great and you can tell they put real effort into them. We loved the modern look and the staff were all really kind. We would stay again!

We would stay here again

This hotel looks a typical motel from the outside but has been fully renovated inside. The room was clean and comfortable. The art was colorful and the furnishings were modern. The beds were great and the sink area was right inside the room. The shower and toilet area had its own door. There was a fridge but no coffee maker or cups in the room. It was perfect for an overnight stop on our way to another destination. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a lot of options to choose from and a nice space to eat. There’s a great restaurant named the Proper Pig not far away. We would stay here again.

The Elmwood was a great find. No more expensive than any others. The staff was welcoming. The picture is accurate, clean and recently renovated. The light continental breakfast was enough to get us going. The Carrabassett Coffee was excellent.

Ok two day stay.

Recently updated, AC wast fairly quiet, towels were poor quality and stained. Pillows were too soft and floors needed to be washed. Acceptable for the two nights were stayed.
