Beautiful property and everyone was super nice. Breakfast was so so. It seems like a place that you would expect a fancy B&B breakfast, but it was more like a Holiday Inn Express breakfast, which I like by the way, so its not thatbit was bad at all, I just expected something more. Overall great stay though.

Totally over valued! The whole thing about a need and breakfast at these price levels for a small town is the charm of it! It lacks complete charm on the inside of the property , there some charm on the outside ! But inside the owners have not paid any attention to make this place charming and even serve you breakfast in very cheesy paper plates! Their breakfast is also below average , bottom line , I would not get fooled to go to this place again and the only reason we did because they made the pictures look nice!

Quaint B&B plus great for a UF weekend.
What a beautiful location central for UF and Gainesville activities. They made you feel welcome from the moment you drives. The cottages were super cute with great history. I enjoyed my little reading book in Lester’s Place and walking the grounds. And the breakfast was so good. You felt welcome, you felt home and you wanted to come back from the moment you left.

Sweet Escape
I love Sweetwater Branch Inn... it is perfect bed and breakfast getaway. My favorite room is the Tea Rose room... because of the huge jacuzzi bathtub & the fireplace.

Exceeded expectations
The Sweetwater Inn exceeded our expectations! The grounds are impeccably maintained and create a private sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and the UF campus. No details were spared at the Inn. Our room was quiet and cozy! From the staff, the pool, the football game shuttle, the complimentary breakfast and guest rooms - all was perfectly presented. We can't wait to return for another visit, go Gators! 🐊

My best experience at a Hotel!
I was amazed at the uniqueness, originality along with all the beautiful plants, trees and gardens there! Each room is unique in it’s theme, design and it’s pioneer spirit! The artwork and design of the whole park, which it really is, was like being in another world. Whenever I need a getaway place in Gainesville, I will return there. The breakfast had the best variety I’ve seen outside of a banquet hall! A wedding took place there in a large, open area. There’s even a Honeymoon suite in that courtyard! It must have been designed by amazingly talented artists, creative designers and architect professionals, along with those who knew the history of this area of Florida. I sat on the front porch in the evening awhile to relax and play my ocarina, a small clay flute which makes me happy and content. I don’t know of other hotels with porches, and lots of homes had them in neighborhoods I grew up in - in various states. It reminds me of decades past when older folks sat in their rocking chairs after dinner to watch their neighbors walk by and chatted with them. I miss those days, and truly appreciate all the effort and planning that went into each unique room and building in this amazing mini-town 4 blocks wide by 4 blocks square!

Cozy and comfortable best describes this gem of a property. Stayed at Giovanni room with individual assigned parking spot. Absolutely loved breakfast. Friendly staff. Wide selection of breakfast items. Delicious and inviting.
