Staff was kind and accommodating. Front desk security was always friendly. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower and sink fixtures were loose. The kitchenette was convenient. The coffee maker didn’t work, but was replaced quickly. The air conditioner was the best part of the stay!!!

The rooms are updated and very clean and comfortable. The staff are incredibly attentive, nice and very accommodating. Staff also assisted with tours and provided information regarding local places to visit. The location is excellent and within walking distance from historical sites, restaurants, bars, grocery store etc. It was a pleasure staying at this hotel and will highly recommend it!

This place was far better then expected! The location is incredibly convenient, just a 15-20 minute ride to-from the airport, and steps away from soooo much in historic Cartagena de Indias! Staff is very friendly, clean facilities, safe and convenient location. Only negative was the need for a new elevator which is already in being built. Highly recommend!!!

Fully recommend, its nice cause its quiet, you get a good rest and recovery. Its super clean, the room is spacious, secure and the people very nice and helpful. Most important there is no additional charges!!!!

I was here just a month ago and had an even better experience this time around. I love how close the hotel is to everything. The walk to the docks to go to an island was so convenient. The grocery stores and express store is such a convenient walk. Being back so soon the building staff remembered me. I love presidential unit and will be getting it again on my next trip to Cartagena.

The rooms do not look like advertised, the accommodation is very basic, and charging the phone takes forever. But the location is central, quiet and clean, the staff is nice and very helpful.

Located in the middle of the main district, starbucks and juan valdez near the place. 24 hours open bakery on the corner. Very clean room all with air conditioning. Very helpful and kind staff. Recommendable!

Location is walkable to all of historic area. I was a little disappointed in the kitchen. The inability to plug in the coffee maker in the kitchen due to no outlets was disappointing. In addition there was no microwave so any heat up had to be done on the electric stove. Also there was no windows in the unit I was in I imagine above the second floor there are.

The building itself was undergoing some construction projects that created some noise and dust but not too bad. Otherwise, charming room with adequate space and nice amenities, located in the heart of the old city. Fairly quiet at night, aside from a little traffic noise. Would definitely stay again!

I really liked my stay at Ganem. I noticed a good amount of reviews said there was no hot water, my shower was hot. I loved the style of the apartment and the size was perfect for me. I just wish the building was more friendly about guest. The building staff was great though, they helped with directions to a few shops when I asked. Overall a fantastic experience. I only dealt with the hotel staff on the first day of 6 nights and they were great.

The room was like an inside cabin on a cruise ship. No window. Dark small. Daily cleaning was nice. Location was good. No outdoor space to relax in. We were on the second floor. Maybe other floors have windows. We were content but would choose something with outdoor space next time. Wifi was spotty at best. Data could not be accessed in the building.

No windows in the rooms. Felt like being in a cell. This is a decent capsule hotel That has staff working. No drinkable water provided Just bed and towel This hotel is more fitting to people who don't really care about the hotels but rather think as the hotels are just places to sleep

The apartment was good. However, you can demand something for this price. I didn’t had a place to do paperwork. That only really worked at the bar. There is no electric kettle in the kitchen. I could only heat water for tea on the electric hotplate in the pot. One pot and one pan are also a bit small. Two pots would have been a nice thing. The fridge froze everything on the lowest setting, including the milk. It was not usable. The bed was very good with a nice firm mattress. It was also very quiet in the room. I slept very well. The shower also left nothing to be desired. The room was cleaned every day. With better equipment in the kitchen and a working fridge everything would have been great.

I liked that the property as was optimally located and appeared very safe and secure. I liked the property manager too who explained the property well in English. . I certainly did not like or felt comfortable when interacting with the security staff. They appeared cold and not welcoming and to conduct themselves in a manner that I got confused whether I was in a police station. They made my girlfriend who is Columbian feel uncomfortable and I got some cold and aggressive stares everytime we left or entered the building. I will certainly think twice about staying there again.

It’s non refundable for a reason

If you want to be in the walled city , in walking distance of most of the restaurants and attractions - this place is for you . If you don’t like loud construction noise for long periods time IN the building you’re staying in or staff constantly walking into your room with THEIR keycard - this place is not for you . If you don’t mind having to ask for room service 24 hours in advance or having to wear a wristband for the entire stay - this place is for you . If you don’t mind having room service walk into your room, using their key, 3 times without ever being called , within (12 hours of your arrival) to replace your towels - this place is for you . If you think that staying at a hotel where you’re not allowed guests means that you won’t be disturbed by constant knocks at the door or people walking in ( with their own key ) after 1 knock - this place isn’t for you . If you don’t mind changing in the bathroom with the door closed every time because the staff has already walked into your room, while you were changing , 2 times in the first 2 days - this place is for you . If you don’t want to rent 2 rooms for you and your guest and have your guest asking you “what’s wrong with these people” and “did you ask these people to clean ny room because they keep coming into my room unannounced” - this place is not for you . If you don’t mind being told that checkout is 11AM and you have to be out by 10:45AM but before 10AM, staff walks in while you’re getting dressed - it’s for you !
