Highly recommend

Love the hotel and all of the amenities, activities, and food choices offered. The private beach was perfect and with the restaurants, bars, and pools one wouldn’t have to leave to hotel if they did not want to. My one dissatisfaction is the service overall was very slow - everything from questions to check in was a 15-20min process. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend this to friends and family!

Clean but shower did not drain and backed up into entire bathroom and started to run into room. Called to let them know about problem but not sure they understood drain issue. Cleaned the room up and brought all new towels. But it did it again the next morning when my husband showered. Check out was at 10 am so u could not shower.

I thoroughly enjoyed my all inclusive two week stay. The food was excellent, the pools were never crowded and the beach was beautiful. The concierge was very helpful with organising trips. It was very helpful that the hotel organised a shuttle service to Taormina too. My only criticism was that it might have been helpful if the restaurant staff staggered putting out the antipasti dishes because if you didn’t arrive at the beginning of dinner the choice became limited because many of the plates were finished, but this is only a minor criticism.

It was such a great hotel I was pleasantly surprised for the price. The staff was nice and kind, the food was amazing and the view on Etna was 11/10. We saw Etna errupting. Also the options for vegetarian and gluten free food was great. In summary I recommend this hotel for everyone. Also for families with children there was a nice child play area.

The so called luxury villa was nothing of the sort! It was dark and depressing and lacking basic amenities such as a kettle or plugs in the right places. It was very dated and run down. some attempt had been made to improve the dacor but the bathroom fittings were pitted and dated. The hotel did offer another room but it was much the same so we decided to put up with it. The staff were polite but not exactly friendly, except for the cleaning teams who were lovely, bright and cheerful and kept the room imaculately clean. The food was really quite dull. There was always a good cold buffet but the cooked meals were clearly designed to keep warm. It was also erratic. One day there was both sea bass and bream - beautifully cooked. The next day there was no fish and burgers seemed to be the main offereing. The food was of good quality but it felt like a works canteen rather than a hotel restaurant. The Gardens were lovely and the beach was pleasant.

Overall the property was ok. We had a big problem with ants in our room which was very unfortunate. They did offer to clean and spray the room but that did not help The town of Giardini Naxos where this hotel is located does not have much going on and is quite a walk to get to the marina area. What we did like was the pool and beach area. Just wonderful! The breakfast was mediocre. If I returned to this area I would have chosen somewhere else.

Beach issues

I did not appreciate the additional costs they incurred for beach chairs and umbrellas You pay you get better service If it’s a private beach it should be equal for all Also I was staying in a villa and I needed a cart to get around the front desk kept asking me if I was unable To walk…. If the amenities are so far from each there shouldn’t be any reason for them to ask

Great Sports Hotel

Is a great sports hotel with many facilities to do sports, like tennis, football, yoga, gym and an Olympic pool, additional to a deep dive club and many day activities that can be hired at the hotel, as well as tours. It also have a large private beach, with all facilities. It is a big complex, ideal for families , couples and whoever want to do sports. The views from the room to the volcano and the sea are beautiful. I see only 3 issues, 1) the options to eat, outside the official meal hours are a bit poor. 2) the beach sand is not the nicest is quite rocky and ashy, but the sea is super clean and transparent. 3) The breakfast finishes too early and the eggs are horrible, bad cooked, they can put an omelette station, would be much better.

I wish they stated online that you did not have access to the beach and only one restaurant was open. Very disappointing to not be able to lay out and read on a sunny spring day. Only one dinner option at night and you had to pay for a buffet or have nothing. The staff here at the bar by the pool and in the center patio area (Rita and the guys) were SO KIND and accommodating!

I would never recommend Naxos area and that hotel

We saw cockroaches and the hotel manger laughing offered a room with a shower so small I couldn’t fit in it and more cockroaches .That area in Sicily isn’t a good area for a family we had actual had armed guards at the entrance . We left this property after 2 nights . I had to beg the manager at the Taromina grand excelsior for a room for my family . I asked the hotel for a refund for the 3 nights the hotel manager said it’s up to your company and took no responsibility. My family was happy to leave Una hotel. BYW my wife and I have thousands of followers on X, Facebook and instagram
